Much quicker and convenient for everyone to have their own device.

You'll need to log in to make a pick.
I have found out that you can have a single PC draft,

-------->
SINGLE PC DRAFT

    • The single PC Draft works in the same way as the LIve Draft, except the drafting process takes place on a single login - that being the League Creator/Commissioner.

  • The same drafting rules, turn times etc may be set as per the Live Draft. Each league member may also set a Pre-Draft list from their own login.
  • Each league member should be present on the "Draft Night" in order to make their selections on a single PC. Remember, the single PC is open to all league members at all times - anyone can make a pick on behalf of any other league member.
  • If you prefer to take your league draft offline and draft your players in another way, the league Commissioner may then input all of the users' teams on their own, using the Draft system at the prescribed draft time.

Let us know what you end up with. I have pick 1 too in our 10 man league.

I'll be honest. Pick 1 sucks! Besides the obvious of having Ablett I really think you are at a Disadvantage. You will get pick 1, then don't get another pick until pick 20,21 then again until 40, 41 It's hard to get your Rhythm when you have such a long break in between picks and you just see all your plans turn to crap! Anyway this is what I ended up with. I really messed up not having a spare ruck ...I will have to trade darling to get one. Few too many frothies towards the end and I couldnt choose between West & Vardy so went Rivers! *facepalm. It's really exciting though. My one tip, get your rucks sorted early. The Prem Rucks went far earlier than I had anticipated.

*NB- Please don't think less of me for taking Stanton he just slipped so far down that I couldn't resist haha!

Hi All,

I thought I'd share my first draft with you.

I had pick one and think I have done ok considering. I agree, that you want to be getting mid-range picks as you have to wait for ages for your next pic. I think you want to aim for players as you go because people views can be very different to yours.

Here is my team:

I would also like to hear about players which will go low in the draft but are high value. Thoughts?

how do you tell where your draft picks are in the draft? I cant seem to see it anywhere!!

Not bad mate.

Why is everyone picking rucks so early!? There's more than 20 rucks for a 10 man full side comp and the scoring potential isn't that great. I mean your 5th midfielder could score as high as your no.1 ruck, and yet people waste a 1st/2nd round pick on them?

Because outside of the top echelon of midfielders (Ablett, Swan, Pendlebury), there are a lot of midfielders that can score 100+. There's not a heap of rucks that provide those same top notch scores.

You've said it yourself - there's more than 20 rucks for a 10 man comp that runs two rucks. There's only 16 starting ruckmen, and barely a handful of decent second rucks. Do you want to be the guy starting Lobbe, Bailey or Jolly, when you can start Natanui and Zac Smith? That's potentially a 40+ point difference per week, as opposed to having a guy score 95+ instead of 115+ for that last midfielder.

Not sure. Franklin, Cox Niknat, Ryder, Goddard were in the top 12 picks

any thoughts on what is the best pick

A couple of questions:

- Injured players - when a player gets injured, say Gary Ablett, what happens? Do you just suffer or what are your options

- If a player is already injured, like Sandilands, is there any point picking them late on the bench?

- Does price have any weight here? Is there any point picking a rookie whose price will go up or just selecting a mid player who you think has more job security and who is more likely to make consistent reasonable scores?

Cheers in advance

- You can suffer with him or trade him out, but be wary that someone might pick him up again before you do.

- Well that's a strategy decision, see above. If you have them and thing they will provide later then pick them up, if they slide through the draft someone will pick them up at some point in the season.

- Price has NO bearing. Highest scores possible

I believe you can trade him with the remainder of the draft pool, or sit with him on your bench until he recovers. Luck with injuries will play a massive part in this

Yes because if he comes back and rips it up, you have a winner! Then you may have trade bait with your second ruck. (I picked up Naitanui then Griffin with very late picks. Griffin will play early with Sandi out, by then NicNat will be ready to fire!)

Price is 100% irrelevant in SC Draft. Pick rookies only if you think they will score higher and play more often than your other options.

Cheers in advance

Hope this helps!!!

We have 4 spots left in our SC draft league, taking place this Sunday at 10am.

The code is 475916 if you, or anyone here that is free Sunday morning, wish to join!

Thanks a lot!

Also, am i right in saying DPP are a goer here? As in you can swap players between positions here also?

Thanks mate. Appreciate that. I'm in one already so I think 1 is enough, cheers though.

hi all, in my league i have selected NO to auto emergency. Does that mean we can still pick up any 4 bench players we want from any position? or is that for auto emerg leagues only?
were a serious cash league with good mates so wana make sure we get it right. we will only do Standard Emergencies if we still have the flexablity of having our 4 emerg being from any position.

Obviously for example: 2 mids out short term, id like to know i can trade out my backup ruckman to pickup a 2nd mid bench player to cover the 2 injured mids. Our preference is Standard Emergencies.

can anyone confirm this? many thanks!!

Yeah I see your point. I guess I was saying picking up Maric with a 2nd round pick vs someone like Goldstein at say 10th round and he might only average 20 points less and I havent wasted a 2nd round pick
