Even though it's a year early, thought we could do with a thread where we could track the names of prospective draftees leading up to the 2014 AFL Draft.

Think of it like a checklist whereby if there's a player who's pushing their case to be drafted, their names can be added.

We already have 4 possible Father/Son picks in Zaine Cordy, Darcy Moore, Billy Stretch and Alec Waterman.

Possible zone selections can also be added to this thread.

Matthew Ah Siu.

Jaxon Barnes played a little bit of Jets U/16's last year, squad for the Jets this year but didn't make the end cut. Will more than likely make the cut next year. Uses the ball extremely well on both feet, plays ruck at local level although he is only about 188cm from memory, would be much better suited to a wing/ half forward. Lacks a little with his ferociousness at times but has started to pick that up recently. Will see if he can come on in the next 6-12 months

Honestly not sure about Duom Dawam thought to be honest. His height makes him look a lot better than he is, still a good chance to get drafted though

Anyone know anything about Zaine Cordy? We also have another F/S next year in Josh Wallis (who at the time Mitch was drafted, I can remember people saying Josh is the better brother) but it seems he might have dropped off a bit, would love a bit of info about him too if anyone has anything!

Cheers!

I thought Ryan Lim was super impressive from the u/18 champs I saw on Foxtel. I didn't realise he wasn't eligible for this year's draft at the time.

Lachie Weller and Caleb Hislop are the Tasmanians I am looking forward to seeing next year, others might pop up.

Wouldn't be a stretch to see Watchman spurling over a bit of Gore.

Any Geelong supporters can tell me about Taea Miles ?
Aparantley playing good footy for the Geelong Falcons.
His old man Geoff Miles was a bit of legend for WCE,
especially remember Geoff's ability to lay someone out with a great hip and shoulder.

Was looking for some information about Harley Walshe as a potential Rookie pick for the Saints, who are still desperately in need of a bit of KPP depth and came across a young lad by the name of Zac O'Halloran on the Western Jets player list; at 195cm and 91kgs he's a great size for a 17yr old. Can anyone tell me anything about the lad? Is he a KPP or an undersized ruck (as a lot of taller kids in the TAC Cup are forced to be)

Is he a realistic prospect for next year?

Clayton Giblett and Tyler Keitel have both come back to East Perth colts training in great condition. Grown a cm or three, built up some body strength and Giblett especially was impressive in the 2km time trial.

Giblett is a terrific athlete. Can look a bit awkward at times on the field but can play a lot of different roles. Will be interesting to see how East Perth use him next season.

Do you know the full first intake list for the state squad?
