Last night I went to set it to record on Foxtel and only then realised it was on ONE,not Ten.Qualifying was on both.Had to set up the set top box to record it.
What did they show instead ? Life Today with James Robinson [who ?],CBS morning show and a repeat Ready,Steady,Cook

Man that was good! When the Mercs were in trouble, I was trying to figure out who was in best position to take advantage of their problems. Would've been a little filthy had there finally been a race where Mercs did fail, and Ricciardo wasn't there to take advantage of it. The idea that Perez or Massa could've won made me a little anxious. But yeah, it all opened up for Dan right at the end.

Massa proving what an absolute potato he is. FMD, it's an embarrassment to professional motorsport that this numpty has won races, let alone challenged for the c'ship. The clown had an opportunity to win, or a 2nd, and he finds a way to **** it up. If he was any good, he would've been 3 corners ahead of Perez at the time of the accident. He's probably the biggest soft**** in F1 (or the smallest). Not being able to make the most of your opportunities is why it was a mistake for Ferrari to have kept him for as long as they did, and why it's better to have a mediocre Raikkonen than him. Just plain ****!

That'd also make Canada one of the more successful venues for a first time winner. Working it out in my head, that be 4 since I've started watching F1 (Alesi 95, Hamilton 07, Kubica 08, Ricciardo today). Add Gilles Villeneuve in 78 and that's 5. Hungary is the only other one that's been as frequent since I've started watching (Hill 93, Alonso 03, Button 06, Kovalainen 08)

Without checking, I think Monaco may have the most first time winners. Unless someone beats me to it, I may look up those stats and put them up.

Fwiw, with Sir Jack's death and Ricciardo picking up his first win here. Sir Jack was the first winner of the F1CGP, late 60s.

Paper victory, shouldn't count, he won it under a safety car.
Also he only won it when the good competition had broken down or struck trouble, should be removed.
