Another one that I noticed over the weekend and have now added is that Scott Thompson is currently on the 5th longest consecutive games streak in AFC history. He could potentially this season overtake Ben Hart for the longest consecutive games streak in club history, and become the first Crow to play 100 consecutive games.

What did VB get to in the end?

What did VB get to in the end?

VB has 2 streaks of 50+ games in his career - 69 games from round 17 2006 to round 15 2009 (after which he missed 1 game - don't know why) and 68 games from round 5 2010 to round 3 2013 (after which he missed 3 games with a knee injury from memory).

His streak before missing last Thursday's game was 16 games.

Our longest current streaks apart from Thommo's are Sauce at 31 since being rested against GWS in late 2012, and Talia at 23 since breaking his arm in the 2012 finals.

A few milestones over the weekend, for what it's worth. Sando's 50th game... if you listen to some on here he won't get to 100. I reckon he will, but I don't know how happy I am about that.

Matt Crouch debuted - hopefully the first of a few debuts in the coming weeks - and Rory Sloane walked into his 50th AFL goalin the first few minutes.

Next upcoming milestones (apart from hopefully more debuts) are Scott Thompson who will play his 250th game against GWS in a fortnight (injury permitting) and Matt Jaensch who will hit 50 in the same game. As much as we love whacking him on here, there is next to no chance he gets dropped in the next fortnight.

Eddie Betts is also nearing 300 AFL goals and Richard Douglas creeping up on 100.

Congratulations to Matt Crouch who nailed his first AFL sausage roll on the weekend.

As posted above, this week is Scott Thompson's 250th game (39 for Melbourne, 210 for us) - a massive achievement. He will also move to outright 11th in the AFC total games list, overtaking Nathan Bassett, and it will be his 88th consecutive game, tying Mark Bickley for 4th place for longest AFC consecutive games streak. I would like to think Bruce McAvaney had a look at this thread during the week to come up with this stat during the telecast yesterday. Although I don't know how he found out about my thing for Kyle Hartigan's size... I'm pretty sure I haven't posted that anywhere on here.

Also congratulations to Matt Jaensch for getting to 50 games this week - a milestone that looked a long way off 2 months ago.

It's also very likely that Eddie Betts and Richard Douglas will kick their 300th and 100th AFL goals respectively in the next week or two.

Also, I just updated for after the Melbourne game. Well done Jared Petrenko for reaching 50 career goals. An outstanding milestone I'm sure you will agree, particularly the fact that it only took him 76 games played predominantly as a forward to reach it.
