Post all thoughts, questions and debate on the 2014 NBA Draft here.

Mods, sticky?

I just can't see Parker dropping to six, if he does someone is going to be absolutely stoked.

I'm excluding Dante as he won't be in the draft, my top 5 from what i have seen is.

Wiggins
Randle
Parker
Smart
Andrew Harrison

Theres a few there i can see staying in school another year depending on how this season pans out, but to name a few: Aaron Harrison, Macadoo, Cauley, Vonleh (i know hes not on that list).

I love Jahii Carson will be a stud i rekon tore it up with arizona state last season he was the team. Semaj Christon is another pg who plays on a lesser known team that will be a gun.
Jahii Carson, I got my eye on him also. :D

Dario Saric will be the steal of this draft.

If Exum is in this draft I don't see him in the top three unless he makes dramatic improvement.

Wiggins is #1 no questions asked
Parker surely #2 or 3
Randle #2 or 3
Smart surely top 5
Gordon surely goes top 6 at least

But who knows, lets hope for the best

Beast draft class.

Atm, my top 5 would be:

1. Andrew Wiggins
2. Jabari Parker
3. Julius Randle
4. Aaron Gordon
5. Marcus Smart

Exum possibly 6th, if he decides to enter the draft.

Pretty much spot on with me. 2 and 3 could swap depending on team needs, I have Smart ahead of Gordon though

Reckon you're pretty spot on with those 5. Agree with nufan though, I'd have Smart higher. I'd actually have him up above Gordon and Randle.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Parker were to do what Smart has done and stay an extra year in college. It definitely seems strange, but he's spoken on a couple of occasions about wanting to stay in college for a couple of years. Adding to the fact is that it's looking likely that the #1 PG of the 2014 class, Tyus Jones is pretty close to a Duke commit, and if he bring with him the #1 overall player, Jahlil Okafor (the two have said they're playing together at college), then that might be a reason for Jabari to return the year after.

There is also the question with Jabari sitting out a year or two (not sure the length) due to his religious beliefs.

I dont rate Gordon that highly, hes the one i have huge ??? over as hes a real tweener.
Randle is a fair dinkum PF and Jabari is a standout SF, Gordon stuck in the middle.

I see Gordon being a shawn Marion style forward in the pros. Main question is if he can develop offense outside of hustle points to warrant it.

No way will Parker fall to 6. His game is just too solid. Exum is going to college, not straight to the draft isn't he?

Seems like a lot of players pulled out of this years draft for some reason. You wonder whether that might really come back to bite some of them. The might fall to the second round or maybe end up un-drafted.

Hope Exum goes in this years draft!
Now that his stock is going up, Exum seems increasingly more open to the idea of entering the NBA rather than spending a full year in college.

Whatever decision he makes, you hope it's the right one in terms of his basketball development. Whether that's college or the NBA, who knows?

Oh, and for those out there wondering "which NBA team should I follow?". Well, I'd give it a year then jump on whichever team Exum lands with.
