Seriously just thinking of loading the Fwd's and Mid's and leaving the Backs with money makers and rookies. Too many question marks over the premium backmen this year. Will Mal still accumulate in a defense like GC's? I'm thinking of running with Beau as my big money defender and everyone else just falling in line behind that.

Malceski or Simpson
simpson for security. Malceski could average anywhere between 75-100, I honestly do not know how he will score in our line up. Although in saying that, his role will probably be quite similar to what he had at the swans. We traditionally do not play a DT friendly game though, quick transitions not possession. But with Rocket at the helm now, I can't really tell you what will happen. Wait till round 2 lol

Harry Taylor anyone? lol
Not the worst option, i was actually looking at him a year or 2 ago when the cats first got Rivers. Thoughts Rivers and Lonergan would take the big 2 forwards and Harry would play a more offensive game and be happy to drift off 3rd up for marks.

With the defence so weak, im open to absolutely anyone being an option if they tick the right boxes. Has avg 79 before and priced at 10 below that, locked in best 22 pretty durable type aswell.

An 80 in defense is almost a keeper this year IMO, certainly not far off it.

Geary vs Henderson vs hunt? Thoughts?

Out of those three, currently I have Geary (& Newnes from who i talked about though I dont know if I want 2 saints)

Henderson I am worried about:
- Jaensch
- Smith
- Laird
- Cheney
- ....

he has been out and to me a little to risky. I don't know his role and there are a lot of adelaide defenders lining up. I dont think he is a guarantee walk on roll to earn quick money. To me he will hold his value maybe earn 40K/70k over a long period but I am not holding my breath.

For scoring output Geary really only has Newnes to worry about. Unless Gilbert comes back strong and their youngsters Jump up. For a team that shouldn't do well this year I can't see much tagging of HBF.

Hunt I know nothing about in terms of DT so I will not comment.

All players to consider id say keep an eye on the last NAB game so far Henderson hasn't done anything however with Reilly retired and B.Smith pushing up to a wing I feel the reason is because Henderson will play across half back. Sloane on DTT seemed to have good wraps for him although he did on all the crows. By looking at the crows side he seems best 22.

Apparently Geary hurt himself at training and is not lining up for them in NAB 3 hes one I was wanting to watch really closely in NAB 3 because im really unsure on him. By looking at their lineup it seems he is their back pocket defender player and he has seemed to still play down back a fair bit in the small amount of NAB cup I saw however still scored well. I will be rewatching NAB 1 and NAB 2 for him.
