2015 Fixture (who did well and who got unlucky)

Yep, lets get rid of all the compromises in the fixture...lets start with how you always play Freo twice.

With you 100% Telsor. I don't think we need to play Freo twice. Only the AFL think that. The supporters don't care. The vast majority of supporters would simply prefer a rolling concurrent draw which simply just keeps going around in a circle. To this day there is not one ounce of proof a rolling concurrent draw would bring in less money.

Like the way we are finally travelling to Subi to play Freo.
They've earnt that game and been very difficult to get it into the fixture with WCE requesting that game every year. I thought it might come at the expense of the WCE game, and it means we have given away playing either of the WA teams at home this year, but hey its an overdue game.
Friday nights at the SCG !! Carlton Richmond and Collingwood !! HUGEMUNGUS

About time Pies had to play us at the SCG.

Are either Hawthorn or Pies travelling to Kardinia Pk this year ?

17 of the 21 Friday night games involve Collingwood, Richmond and Carlton. Be a yawnfest by mid season.
Wish the AFL would stop calling it a fixture or a draw. It is AFL compromised appointments based on revenue raising.
So 17 of 21 friday night games - the so called blockbuster, sell the game night - involves three of the worst eleven teams from last season?

On the saints - absolutely shafted with sunday games galore and four sunday twilight, and seven interstate games. be a hard sell for members. On the plus side, we actually play the other bottom six twice this year, but how do we travel 7 times and melbourne only 3 times?

Loving ANZAC day at Adelaide OVAL

Norwood v Port followed by

Hawks v Port

What a day....

Again loads of people are gona miss out because the powers that be decided to make the capacity the same as shitfull park somehow not taking into account that thousands of extra people want to go to the football when it is in the city... school boy error. Needed to be 60k.

It would be nice if the Swans played us at the G a bit more instead of us travelling there every year.
I don't think the Cats would want to play pies/hawks at KP because they would miss out on a lot of ticket sales. They should get about 80k for hawks and about 60k for pies.

We'd love nothing more than to play another bottom 8 mob like the Pies one extra time every season.... but you already get what ? 17 home games for the season is it ? Did you ask for the usual 20 this time and settle on the usual 17 or 18 ?

Play a game at Kardinia Pk, or at least prove you arnt bottom 4 material next season and we'll think about it ok.
You simply arnt much of a drawcard these days. Being s**t will do that.

The ticket sales excuse to avoid a flogging every year...yeah we dont notice it at all ;)

lol. we have a great draw.
play all of the top 8 sides except Port at etihad.
play essendon, Melbourne, GWS, West Coast & The Tom BOyd doggies twice.
Sure we have plenty of sunday games but what do expect finishing last? 6 clubs miss out on a Friday Night game yet we managed to get one.
3 of our interstate games are against GC, Brisbane & GWS.
Am definately not complaining.

Geelong have 8 genuine home games and only travel 5 times, once to GWS. That's a brilliant draw.

Also have 8 six-day breaks (equal highest) and are the only side not to play any of the bottom six sides twice.

I'm basing the criticism on financial grounds - it's a shocker - based on our opponents it's fine. Hard to sell 16 game memberships when you only play 14 in victoria, families (and most others) don't attend Sunday twilight, and youngsters play footy on Sunday, so can't come to games

Win more games and the fans will come, port Adelaide 3-4 years ago perfect example
