No chance I'm selecting him if that's what you're suggesting. The more people that choose him, the better for me.

But, but he scored 91 against Pies in round 1!!!Yep, that spud muffin as well.
If it helps I selected Ben Kennedy as F5/6 thinking he would smash out a solid 70-80 per week.the pain
the absolute pain!
dont let it bother you, it only led to my worst SC result in 10 years
I'm good value this year due to massive injury discount from last season
It's not a question of making a bad choice, it's a question of being able to ditch your pride and correct the mistake early. Porpy for Parker Round 4; Webster for D Swallow Round 3; Sutcliffe for Fyfe Round 6. Ranked < 5000 at years end.If it helps I selected Ben Kennedy as F5/6 thinking he would smash out a solid 70-80 per week.

Pretty good pick in my eyes, Been elevated to leadership group, in an under priced DEFENDER. His job security is pretty much set in the best 22 I see some cash generation in him to maybe hop, skip & jump on to another defender who comes out of the woodwork.
If you're willing to pay 270K for a defensively minded player who will average 80ish at absolute best in order to skip to a premo, then go for it. Personally I'd rather save 100-150K (and a trade) and go a rookie who will generate more cash, and use that 100-150K to go from a mid-pricer to a premium.
That's the problem we all have. Where are these rookies you speak of!?
Indeed. Just no sucker key position types pleaseCurrently running with a defense setup of 4-1-1. So i'll only need 3 rookies. I'm pretty confident 3 rookies will arise from somewhere, so i'm not too worried for now. However this may all change when teams are released in round 1 and there are no backline rookies![]()

Vandenberg you ******* play well to get an elevation.
I would say though, from watching the game he was serviceable without playing out of his skin to get that 93. Take off 8 for an arsey goal and it's still 85. Decent if you had him pegged for a 75-80 average at his price. Surely you'd expect him to do better at 23yo than the 73 he averaged at 21? Priced at 61 btw.Unfortunately being elevated to the leadership team doesn't elevate your supercoach score. He's been a vocal leader-type at the club for a few years now and it makes sense for him to be selected into the leadership team, I dont think this will have any effect on his supercoach scoring. Yeah he's underpriced, but he's also never averaged more than 73 points in a season. His role in the side has always been defense first, and this won't change. With better ball users like McDonald, Atley and even Thompson (throw in Dal Santo and Higgins who will sweep across half back) out of defense, getting the ball into MacMillans hands aren't a priority.

Last I heard it was 156, in a quarter.Wasn't he the guy that got 84+ possession or something in a NEAFL game?
