Robinson isnt athletically limited !

I would prefer Robinson onfield to Thomas onfield everyday
I would even go as far as to say that he is actually a better footballer offensively than all 3 players you mentioned and 2 of them are starting 22
Robinson's inability to pull up and play within team rules is a limitation. I don't doubt he has better physical tools than these 3 (it wouldn't be hard), but his decisions on the field are as poor, if not worse. You'd be just swapping one known limited footballer for another, except with Robinson you never know when those limitations will explode in your face. He has a dubious moral compass off the field, a bad case of 'white line fever' on it and seems to lack consistency in sticking to a game plan, from what both Carlton and Malthouse have implied on several occasions. He'll just bring different frustrations and headaches, but won't advance the team. If the 'no d*ckhead' policy is still in effect, there's no chance of the Tigers being interested, thank God.

Robinson onfield is a better player offensively that Morris & Thomas and is certainly an upgrade, Dont get me wrong i do accept Mitch Robinson's off field issue's are a problem but there is no doubting he is a good player with flaws

Shiels averages 20+ touches and 5+ tackles a game. He's more than handy even if he isn't sitting on a bloke.

Just to make my position clear - I understand that it is useful for a coach to be able to try and "shut-down" an opposition player for periods of a game, but a player who is only capable of shut down roles (ie Andrew Raines) has no play on our list in my opinion.
Sure but its better to work with a player who can do that role and develop him to get more involved the other way, than a player who cant tag at all. Imo its all about the quality of the taggee than the number of p's that will help us.

Please for the love of god no more unwanted/delisted players from other clubs. We got through the trade period without recycling anybody elses trash for once (thank god) just the draft now and I can breathe a sigh of relief.

Robinson got delisted from Carlton ffs who with any luck will be bottom four this year and Taylor Hunt is a very limited footballer who couldnt get a game for a Geelong team that is on the slide. We do not want these players clogging up our list.
