I agree, my family live in Echuca and my little bro played both with and against Clayton and reckons he is a gun.. Reckons he was so thick through the hips and thighs that nobody could tackle him to the ground even in under 16's as a bottom ager.

Played seniors in the GVFL under Blake Campbell at Mooroopna at 16 and has actually dominated games at that level.. Played VFL for Richmond too this year (dunno how he went)

He has got that real competitive beast inside him, real grunt. Please Ameet!

Yeah he has that core strength of someone like Cameron Ling but with a crazed competitiveness. Love him, he has a pretty low fitness base so could be a really big improver in an AFL system. He looks like he is one giant skin fold which is pretty much the same as Olly Wines. He was a pudgy country kid with a competitive streak.

He can seriously play and he has cut us to shreads a few times but he has lost all motivation cos he has fallen out of love with Carltank.
24 is a good age as well.

Not saying I personaly want this to happen but do you think we would look at it with Carl knocking back 19 from Tiggers.
Hes a much better player than Saunders or Wright so it woukd improve our list.

He is a player that you would want in a finals team , can turn a game quickly .
BUT he is also a player that could go missing during a final . Rather a quick skilled kid at pick 14 .

First thing I thought when I saw that pic was that it was pretty poor form from pies and treloar. I'm sure they had taken it to maximise on publicity as soon as the deal is done, and that's fine, but you don't want to piss off the team youre trading with by not showing much respect. Especially when it's been a drawn out process like this one has

Farren Ray has never voiced a desire to go back to WA.

He owns heaps of property in Melbourne, just bought a house in Brighton and is very settled. I can see him staying in Melbourne after footy. Has built his life here. He's very social and loves it here. He's actually from Mandurah I think which is like Geelong, it's not like a home coming moving to Perth.

It's a good idea. Lee has never cemented himself as a saint on or off the field imo and he indeed comes from WA and could potentially fill a swing man role (and/or possible backup) forward or back whether they get McCarthy or not. Pick 14 helps them secure McCarthy and if not they have Lee as backup.

Lee and 14 to Freo for Weller.

I like Lee but he has been badly managed by us. He needs a guy like Ross Lyon to show some love and give him games. He will be a good player if he gets a go.

Would rather have Acres, McKenzie, Freeman playing the role that Ray has been over the years. Great clubman buts its time to give the young boys a crack as there performances havent been any worse than his.
