But the important question is.. did you give Fyfe a hug for me? :p

and on the Silvagni thing... If Macca doesn't come up I'd rather put A Pearce in.
Salim Malik Will the boys be training tomorrow morning?

From the various pressers this week, my understanding is that they are definitely training and tomorrow's session will be the heaviest in the lead up to the Prelim. I'd guess that next week's will likely taper off and also involve fitness tests for those who are line ball. Prior indicated that RTB will start out the session and leave to catch a flight to watch the Hawks v Adelaide game.

Apeness,Mora,Hughes,Crozier on the bikes in the sun.Good to see Apeness without the knee brace.Mundy,Sonny,Johnno on light duties. Pav,Fyfe appeared after the session finished and had a kick to kick with Sonny.Neither had any strapping. When Johnno came of the Doc signalled him and Johnno gave him the thumbs up.Hope it means good to go.:)No sign of Luke which must be a big worry. The rest trained in a long session with Ross very vocal and snarly.Sherro was a stand out .The conditions were perfect and the skills and transition very good.Interesting that Barlow was the inside mid in all the match sims.Mundy and Fyfe not being there would be a reason but Lachie did train so maybe a change for Mick is on the cards.Very disappointing crowd watching this morning. You would have hoped a big group would have got down there to celebrate Fyfe's birthday and cheer the boys on.

Salim has pretty well covered it. Seemed a pretty light session to me. MJ did a fair session running up and down under supervision. Later joined in the match sim. Spurr went off towards the end of match sim. When asked if OK said yes. Mundy and Alex P appeared latish and did a session of stretching and gentle run throughs. Mayne spent time on much needed goal kicking practice.

Great reports! Not surprised by McPharlin no show I doubt he'll make an appearance until next Wednesday - if he doesn't show then I agree he might not play.

In that case I'd say bring in Silvagni for whoever McPharlin would normally replace. If Adelaide win though for the love of God don't put him on Tex again.

The training report on our club website said McPharlin was in the gym today. I would say they are just being cautious.

A mate of mine was in Freo yesterday for a course and was out getting a coffee early, anyway he said that Nat Fyfe walked past him in a metal knee-brace. Definitely not a moonboot or crutches, It was a knee brace over the top of some long pants. I haven't read anything about him having any knee issues lately? Training watchers seen anything that could add to this?

I have seen those pants.
The knee brace print looks very real. ...... Nike I think.

I would suggest if Luke doesn't train by next Wednesday, we have seen the last of him in Purple.
If we get into the Grand Final, they'll pump him full of so many painkillers he'll be floating on rainbows. But he'll be in the 22.

No sign of a knee brace this morning, but having said that Fyfey was taking things very easily. Don't know about a fierce session. Looked to be non- contact to me. Of course Spurr managed to end up flat on his back following an up and under forward entry prompting a polite request from Ross to TAKE IT EASY SPURRY.

Fyfe in a knee brace is something I haven't seen.He was out and about with his leg free of strapping, ice packs or any other sundry medical appliances. He was kicking both feet in a kick to kick with Pav.Cant say much more except he didn't look to bad apart from a slight limp.

It wouldn't be the first time. We may as well have played with Douglas Bader instead of Luke in the 2013 GF
If Luke isn't fit, Ross won't risk him.
