woah woah... hang on... WHAT?!
Fyfe and Johnson came out again doing light ball work, but not the main drills.
Johnson looked a bit ginger, but no strapping. Fyfe with a calf strapped.

If he was in an Elite junior rugby program, chances are he's very quick and powerful off the mark.Is it just me even taking into account him being a big lad is Apeness pretty sluggish when on the move?
Johnson and Fyfe with full group now. Wafl guys with playing group doing a practice match.
Relieved to see them back out there.
Must be hard for Wafl guys who are playing tomorrow.

Clarke trained with the main group the whole time. He seemed fine from where I was sitting.
I didn't see Sheridan. But I wasn't looking for him.
Crozier, Mzungu (I think), Hannath trained with the main group. So did Alex Pearce after the fitness test.
Ballantyne and Crowley were with the main group. At one time Ballas went over to the WAFL group who were doing light drills and got called back to make up numbers.
Fyfe and Johnson finished the practice match, but it was very short - 5 to 10 minutes.
Then all players went inside, kicking for goal as they went. Except Ballantyne, who started running laps. I left at that stage.

No way would Fyfe front up in a practice match with a calf problem even for 10 minutes.
PS I'm posting this to help me get through until teams come out![]()
I was hoping to see you there salim. Yes, that made me more relieved. I thought from the strapping it may have been more the side muscle than gastrocnemius. Anterior tibialis? A little knowledge is dangerous.
And I reckon Hannath has improved this year. Speed and manouverability wise.

I'm a home slave at the minute with the other half's accident![]()

Fyfe and Johnson were doing kick to kick under the supervision of a physio(?), just in front of us this morning. I thought that Jonno was moving OK but that Fyfy wasn't pushing hard off the planted foot when kicking. That and the length of the subsequent discussion with the physio doesn't fill me with optimism. Here's hoping it's a contact injury rather than the RSI issues we appear to have seen with Ballantyne, Crozier, Sheridan, et al.
Good session today though the intensity dropped off a bit near the end. Bondy will be returning the defective witches hats to the store for a refund though.
How have the boys looked this week? Everyone on the park?
