Highly likely Mcpharlin wont play if he didn't train. If its wet I think either C Pearce or Mzungu will replace him.

McPharlin often doesn't train and plays. Be surprised if Freo named a player who is not going to play.

It's finals time, they have closed training sessions for a reason. Don't take any notice of the team in the paper.if McPharlin has an issue he won't be risked if it is wet particularly now that Buddy's not playing.

Relax Mr Pearce, if Alex gets to play it will be the making of him. No better stage.

Taylor, I am relaxed! Very disappointed if he doesn't get a game. He has obviously had an niggling injury or soreness but I think Taberner has got the nod in front of him.
He is not named for Peel. Can he still play for them if he doesn't play seniors.

He can play for them, I'll allow it haha

It's Sunday WAFL so I expect him to.

So it's allowed even though he's not named in today's paper
Yes, it sucks hardest for the bottom 22 player who finds out Saturday lunch time if he gets to his WAFL game for a 2pm start or has to get up even earlier for the reserves, again.

WAFL is Sunday so highly likely I'll be going to Mandurah to watch Peel.
I think he's is extremely unlucky to miss out. He missed the game against Melbourne through injury which has proven to be crucial - would have had an opportunity to kick a few goals. Good luck to Taberner but Alex is a better player.

Alex is a better player as he can play both backline and forward. I think Tabs is better up forward than Alex at the moment however this may change. Freo have enough KPB to push Alex out. He has a very bright future and I'm stoked Freo picked him up.

Missing the Melbourne game was crucial. Taberner is a mark kick forward who is pretty ineffective once the ball hits the ground, the opposite to Alex. However, the inclusion of Ballantyne and his forward defensive pressure has saved Taberner. It will be interesting to watch Taberners attack on the ball when under finals pressure.

I fear it could be non existent for Tabs. I know you want to see Pearce forward but I prefer him down back. He seems more effective.

After 10 odd games of AFL it is especially hard to play forward compared to playing back. Tabs has been doing it a lot longer than Pearce. My take is A.Pearce is a quick study and as Lyon would appreciate he is 'flexible' which is what we want in our KPP's.

He played finals games last year (if I'm correct) so he will be ready for the tempo...
