Breaking it into 4 week blocks:

Rounds 1-4:

Sandringham: 50/50
Collingwood: W
Casey: W
Coburg: W

Easy start. If we win week 1 we should really be 4-0 after it. Sandringham have a good side so be wary.

Rounds 5-8

Box Hill: 50/50
Northern Blues: W
Richmond: W
Geelong: W

Box Hill's 50/50 due to being at home, same as Geelong. Blues and Richmond look weak, both should be wins.

Rounds 9-12

Frankston: W
BYE
Port Melbourne: L
Williamstown: L

Really difficult period here, if they can sneak a win against Port or Willi it'll be really helpful.

Rounds 13-16

BYE
North Ballarat: W
Geelong: 50/50
Footscray: L

Still a difficult period, could put NB in the 50/50 area as well.

Rounds 17-20

Werribee: 50/50
Frankston: W
Footscray: L
Richmond: W

So 18 matches, I'd hazard a guess:

12 wins (splitting the 50/50's), 6 losses and either the double chance or a home final week one.

So the curtain raiser thing just didn't happen?
Pretty much.

Our "curtain raisers" at other venues are:

Casey Scorpions, Richmond, Geelong, Frankston (even though the main game's in Perth), Geelong (for them), Footscray, Werribee (even though the main game's in Sydney), Richmond.

One thing this fixture will suck in is it'll be hard to get to both the VFL and main game on time. I'm already planning which games to get to, outside of the ones at WH.

For all that work, you want to find the one flaw in my post?

f - u Ethan, f u :D
Actually there's more than 1. We play NB day after Norf, Freo is on the 9th and there are 2 games in southern suburbs of Melbourne. Geelong is also a potential Double header before the Port game, starts at 11.

So one partial clash and one full on clash between the AFL and VFL games. It's about the best we could do. First game on the 19th of April is a long way off.

I haven't checked the accuracy of your post - but I daresay ANY double headers are immediate lock ins for Tanked.

Just a heads up that our April 26 game against Collingwood at Windy Hill has been moved to 11:30am on ANZAC Day.
Strange move considering that Channel 7 were going to broadcast the day after.

Actually no, I don't like that at all.

That will make attending both a bit tricky.
If they moved it back to 11 it would be better.

Especially with all the pre-match ANZAC day hoopla

Yeah, from a fan perspective, it's frankly a bullshit move. 10:30am would have been a better starting time.

Piss off, Channel Seven.

This crossed my mind yesterday. Hard to imagine them not being affected.

First practice match is March 13 - Think at least one or two practcise matches will be affected.
