Players are mentally weak, they just have it in their heads that they can't beat Pittsburgh. As soon as they got the first I knew they would tie it up, could see the doubt creeping in

Agreed, they have more than enough quality in the team to win still, especially when you have a goalie at the top of their game. I'd be surprised if Sid misses anyway

Pens have covered the letang loss well. But washington will beat them with no sid on top of that.

Not saying they would get smashed in any game, but id back the caps to win the next 3 if sid doesn't play.

Having said that it looks like he will play game 4 from what I've read. So it's a moot point
