Went fishing Rooter and landed quite a number of turkeys including you... enjoy the hook.

Hah Ha. So did I …...I knew if I threw out a bit of berley you would not be able to help yourself and predictably you did not let me down!

Your fishing claim is just a thinly veiled attempt to conceal another poor attempt at big noting. You are not fooling anyone here.

Fair question. After 10 rounds, no games but plenty of teasing from the person who puts the teams online before each game - I suspect the later.

Unfortunately the AFL legends game does not count towards finals eligibility.
Regardless if he does play, Kew are a long way in front of the chasing pack at the moment.

Once again you show your class

No prizes for following the leader and being second best Rooter

Big week this week:
Bears were very good against Ormond and with a few still to come back. Cannot wait for the return bout plus the ever-likely finals clash(es)!

This week:
Ormond over NOBs by 50 points
Old Geelong over Whitefriars by 45 points
St.Marys over Yarra Valley by 80 points
Old Mentonians over Bulleen Temp by 12 points
Kew over Prahran by 19 points

This week:

Ormond to slam the indifferent NOBS - 73 points
Old Geelong far too classy for Whitefriars and will be keen to attempt to bridge the 2nd to 3rd gap after Ormond's loss to the hands of the krafty Kew. 60 points.
St.Marys will take a dump on the awful Yarra Valley, starting to look pretty sad down at Donny Reserve. 115 points
both sides have returned to form but I think Bulleen will pull off an upset against OMs and get up by 3 points.
Kew will face a tough test from Prahran Assumption but they'll be too strong. 32 points.

Same

I see you're really across your footy.:)
Not sure what you are implying about what I do or don't know, but I do know the last time either of them played for Ormond it was in the juniors and I don't expect they will be back there playing anytime soon. :p

This may be of little interest to most...but for the handful it is, refer below for the W/L record for North Old Boys/St Pat's in our first 1000 games against sides we've played at least 12 times.....the worst one is we've never beaten Old Ivanhoe in 12 tries.....

Thanks for sharing these stats - love looking at past history.

And a shoutout to whoever at VAFA Headquarters who have put copies of previous years Amateur Footballer up on the website. Just wishing that more of the various years records would be posted.

It's called being flippant.

Insert fork in Friars.

We are cooked.

FFS.
OGGS are looking ominous though HH.

I wouldn't be engraving the premiership cup just yet if I was Kew.

The two blues clearly outplayed the bears in the first half today. With a little more composure in front of goal they could have been six goals up at the break.

The two blues spread and share and the way they protected the corridor was good to see. As was their aggression at the contest and the way they kept their shape up forward.

Unfortunately the two blues ran out of legs and weren't able to sustain the heat around the contest that had the bears rattled in the first half.

They are using the foot more under the new coaching set-up too.

They will cause a few headaches in the run home.

Noticed Brian Taylor there. Assume it had something to do with the Assumption connection.
