Noticed Brian Taylor there. Assume it had something to do with the Assumption connection.
Son plays for Prahran

I'll go out on a limb here, and say that BTemp are a good chance of staying up (again). We are too, provided we don't lose more players to season ending injuries.

The really shaky crew are OMs. Four wins have all come at home. Lost every away game pretty convincingly, and they play all teams around them (bar us) wearing white shorts. Host Ormond and Kew at Turner Rd where the ground dimension won't prove tricky for either. I can't see them winning more than 1 or 2 for the rest of the year. Winnable games are Yarra at Yarra and us at Turner Rd. Other than that, they are up against it.

Interesting times......

I can't wait for mummy's boy to journey down to the Gunn this Saturday. I'm sure mummy will be made to feel very welcome. I've got a great place for her to stand. In the forward pocket next to the Ormond coaching box is an ideal place to watch the game. The Ormond crowd will be more than accomodating

Beamsy, not sure if a group of 20 or so spectators ( some just strolling past walking the dog) constitutes a crowd but Mummy might surprise you if you keep being so accommodating..

That looks like the plan Spectator, used to think OAFC was a well run club and also thought Goodsey was good for the game..times change I guess

So the plan is to gather a group of "men" and hurl abuse at a middle aged woman watching her son play footy in the local park comp?
Not from me , I never said that at all. She was the one that started the verbal at Ferndale. Ormond would not abuse a women. As for you perspective you wouldn't have a clue how Ormond is run, you know the rest

Yes Beddy you are right about who started it but your cohorts will say plenty of abuse emanated from the Ormond few..Perhaps ask Beamsy..

Not knowing the full circumstances I find it a little bit ridiculous that a mother who was defending her son is copping so much shit. Passion sometimes overflows, pretty easy to target someone who is vulnerable even if she did start it/take it a bit far etc...

Sounds like it letts.. they would have no idea of the circumstances and good luck to the mum for supporting her son. She sounds vulnerable to me too and not a good look from the supporters/members/officials of the opposing club.
