Our needs are hard to assess i did a phantom and made the firstIf your ever going to pick a Ruckman in the first round, its off a premiership year, there will never be as little pressure on picks as now. And taking the best ruck which is a need anyway is fine by me. Surely the odds of him becoming an average ruck are pretty good which should at least make him worthy of a list spot in the future.
one less thing for jmac to worry about over the next few trade periods
Sadly can't see us picking up both Hannan and long.
Shit.
Four: 18, 26, 50, 75Just confirming, we are only selecting three tomorrow night?
Ohhhhh I feel better now, I always thought it was only three. Cheers for that. Maybe we might pick up both long and Hannan. Who's your preference out of the two?Four: 18, 26, 50, 75
I don't mind it, the second pick is likely going to have the immediate impact toSo we're thinking 2 of:
Marshall
English
Cox
Ryan
Fair chance port pick marshall with one of their picks and depends on what GC do for English to slip to us.So we're thinking 2 of:
Marshall
English
Cox
Ryan
I'm not sure you fully understand the type of player English is. He's a mobile, 205cm quasi-ruckman with elite kicking skills. For what it's worth, many recruiters don't believe he has true ruck capabilities, rather, see him as a future 205cm intercept-marking defender - what I want him to be. He's not my most favoured pick at 18 but he has a shitload of talent and if Dal thinks he's got what it takes then I'd fully trust us to pick him up. He's also likely to keep growing - getting into 206-207cm would greatly assist him in his ruckwork, having that extra height advantage.
He reckons that he puts on weight easily when his "diet and gym are in check", so that looks optimistic towards him not being an Ayce Cordy type. Also is very well-spoken, seems quiet, focused.
Calm blue ocean, GolloShit.
By the way, what makes you say this?
(Double shit. Looks like we're interested in Hanrahan. Highlights did not impress me at all. Don't think he's worth a national selection, let alone one at 50 or 26.)
Reminds me of Pittard. He has a purposeful, unorthodox left footed kicking action. I recall a player just like that. Leom Cameron.
