Thoughts on who the top 6 forwards will be at years end.

Locked for me are Lids, Dusty, Barlow.

Bennell? Joey? Gray?

I'm currently just starting the first three you mentioned and three rookies. I'd rather have a proper look at the rest of the field then trade in the next best three

I'll call it now - every man and his dog will have Wells locked into their side if he plays a pre-season game.

Buddy looked great the other night.... If he's a mid/fwd roamer kicking goals and applying defensive tackling pressure he could be a solid pick IMO

Besides Buddy the only key forward I see scoring well is Kennedy.
He kicked 80 last year with a busted elbow.

Next best is the 2 Lynchs. Both very impressive.

still a gun imo. but i think the 160-170s he scored in previous years will drop now to 120's.
he'll still have his 50-60 point dud games just dont think he has the ceiling anymore.

I had Duddy last year, he burnt me, he's a never again for me.
The only KPF I'd look at picking this year would be JJK

I mean, I'm not trying to be a dick, but the only knock on Wells was his ability to actually play games...in his 7 full seasons on footywire history he's averaged 90+ in all those years bar 2 (88.9 and 87.9). A Wells playing pre-season and looking fit at 240k was always going to get him picked up.

Should be a solid choice. May play a bit more forward with libba returning but still should get plenty of midfield minutes. should go around 100 average again imo

Is this due to almost everyone having Wells and having 2 players with questionable injury history is too much of a risk??
Kid has amazing skills, should have high DE% and can slot goals.

Just worried about his 4 x knee recos... and missed last Nab R3 game due to pulling up sore on the calves. Reckon they would have to manage him through the year, even if he didn't get injured.

Yeah obviously the knee recos are a huge issue. Didn't realise he had sore calves, would have thought he'd only play 2 out of the 3 NAB cup games anyway.
Could crash and burn early (let's hope not for his sake) or avg 80-90 and be a steal at 260K.

Big risk. We see these risks most years. Cyril is normally the one, or Mummy.

He might spend less time in the middle with Libba coming back and Crameri suspended, nonetheless he's a gun player and a great pick.
He might drop in price a bit but he'll be a top 10 forward regardless

Considering he stays fit will average 90 +. Very damaging player.
That's a big if he stays fit though. Have to take some risks. I've got him.

Yeah he's an underratted scorer and a very reliable POD. So many options in the forward line this year.
