My take from that interview with Macrae is that there will be a big change in our VFL team list.

Pretty active this time around , first couple of years we backed a lot of metro squad players that have failed to deliver , if Footscray can put together a winning team , surely we can

I was a massive wrap for Darley when he signed up as a 17yo to GWS. Not sure why he never came on. Good to see the VFL team sign some good young talent though.

Very good recruits.

Ballard and Darley are great VFL players as is Couch.

Need a couple more but much better than last year and we will have more depth from AFL listed players.

Hopefully the senior game style is more attacking in 2016 meaning the 2's will be the same. Some of the games I went to in 2015 were painful to watch too much sideways and backwards movement from the backline, I can only assume Clarke was following instructions from the senior panel. Hope McRae is given the chance to use some attacking flair, the list of kids we have should lend itself to that style.

You're not the first person I've heard say that. If Clarke was the issue then it's frustrating that we took so long to figure it out.

Need the kids to get the winning feeling and grow confidence at an early stage

Plenty of games at Punt Rd too 13 out of 21 (counting practice matches ). Haven't checked out how many precede our main games at the G. Will be good year to watch plenty of 2s footy.
