Does that definitely mean he'll play though? I think there are cases of players being pulled from the "on field squads" but it is a promising sign

A player listed on the filed doesn't mean they've made the cut, they can still miss out come the final selection. Not very often are they not named after been initially put on the field though.

Yeah it has happened rarely but I'd be extremely surprised if he didn't play.

Collingwood have a history of blooding players in the Anzac game. I'm sure he will play. Frost will get the emergency tag over him in my team though.

Start McGovern (Away v Hawks), Papley (Home v WC) or McCarthy (Away v Port).
Not sure why, but might go with McGovern.

Cox will play has stated so on twitter. If named on the field this year it seems they're playing. Bit of a change from past years.

Another fairly boring friday night for me. I have no hawks which might be a concern. I have Matt Crouch i think he might struggle tonight but hopeing for a tonne been consistent with 80-90s needs to go 95-100
