Everyone is feeling down after Sundays game.
So what is everyone looking forward to seeing in 2016?
IMO we still have a young list. Im looking foward to seeing Corey Ellis, Lennon and KMac playing most games together next year.

I'm actually going to go into 2016 with no expectations , if it goes pear shaped again then a lot easier to take. Oh and i have a newly crowned number 1 team to hate "North" never ever thought Carlton would be over taken but it has.

I expect a solid 22 game season leading to top 4.

I suspect another dodgy start to the season due to misfiring of the coaching groups brains with the team's brain. Followed by a long period of winning games through tight play. Losing the odd game due to not being switched on. Beating top 4 teams regularly though. Finals, 90K crowd and ??????

My best mate supports them and to be honest i actually never minded North over the years , i had been to quite a few of there games with my him also . Cant stand them now in fact hate them , not because we got beat by them its the way they carry on after the win , ****ing arrogant bunch of dickheads , worse fans by a country mile.

6- The abolishment of the sub rule
7- Winning a final. God I just want to win one final and I'll be happy. Premiership 2017.

We are a chance at a flag in 2016 if we recruit and trade well. Forget about needing finals experience, that's an excuse, you don't need it, it helps, but you don't need it.

Our team with improvements can knock off anyone on their day. If we finish top 4 and play a QF at the 'G we can win the flag next year.

The key is to plug some holes in the off season and get another preseason into the second tier players.

Then, I'd like to see us strengthen our position yet again to be a genuine top four side.

- Batchelor is taking over Vlastuin's role directly. He was actually very good at that in the past anyway. Vlas back to midfield.

- Glad to see sub rule goneski.

- Richmond, be brave. Jack Riewoldt to be named CAPTAIN from 2016. Cotchin and Vlastuin vice-captains.

- The rest of the team filled in from either new recruits or our remaining top tier players.

From recruits:

Carlisle, Yarran, Bennell, Dangerfield, Stevie J, Kreuzer, Zac Smith, Leunberger, Redden, Hampton, Treloar...etc

From Richmond:

Maric, Lambert, Lloyd, Hunt, Grigg, Menadue, Chaplin, Conca, McBean, Griffiths, Astbury, Castagna, Elton all first in line.
There's a couple more like Drummond, Morris, Butler that might get a go and can play roles so provided we bring in at least one gun and get another inside player, we have decent depth and I expect us to push for top 4.

I would love us, being realistic, to line up round 1 looking like this:

- Obviously want Treloar but just being realistic. Don't think we will end up with Redden, so I don't know where the other inside mid will come from.

- Wouldn't mind Zac Smith instead of Kreuzer.

- Happy to give one cheap year to Stevie J as a backup player/forward coach and then after that a purely forward coach role. Right now do we even have a 30yr old on the list?

Hoping we do indeed get some good players in!!
