It seems Hawthorn and Essendon are both beefing up their facilities but what are we doing ?

Last update i heard was at a tommy hafey lunch

An upgrade will happen, BUT the size and scope of the upgrade are dependant upon how big a grant we get from the vic govt, and this was going to be massively influenced by if/when we got a aflw team

Govt hasnt announced the grants yet, so i doubt we will hear anything further until after this announcement

Question was asked on this.
From what I recall they said it was still being looked into and discussed with the various bodies.
They are working on a set of preliminary plans which should be done mid first half next year, all subject to approvals etc

He’s an interesting unit. He can seem quite aloof if he doesn’t know you. I’ve get to know him over the years and know how to press his buttons.

He’s just acquired a special and unique souvenir of our GF win. He’s had to cut them to fit in his house!
