Different agenda and language meima .
Yes as long the person is friendly I will still answer what I saw . sherriden is showing average performance. Banker is more aggressive.

Yeah I know :( Hoping Tommy and a few other Freo players step up this weekend. Very glad it will be televised as I won't be able to get down that way.

edit - just realised it's at Leederville. Hmmm, that might be easier.
I think I'll just watch it on TV - we don't get many chances so I'm going to lap it up!

I am just guessing , you might be banker using another account.

A lot of people, myself included, were convinced you were a troll when you first signed up. Just sayin.

Benefit of the doubt and all that, gotta give the newbies a chance.

Peel Round 1 Team is up...

B Hancock Collins Bray
HB Hughes Logue Suban
C Bennell Sheridan Crozier
HF Ugle Cox Bell
F Jetta Taberner McGowan

I hope balic gets like 30 touches or so n dominates, logue a pass mark a pass mark for me would be 15 disp 5 marks 80%.

I think Neale wanted to play, so the club must've said no. I much prefer him being kept in cotton wool this weekend
Yeah I agree. And it also gives our non-B22 guys more opportunity to show what they've got (eg Balic).

Cam Shepherd is playing it down but I think Peel will have a very strong team again this year. The Peel guys (non-Freo) are starting to hit their straps and unless we have masses of injuries again Freo will be providing plenty of good players each week. I'm even confident our first year draftees (Logue, Cox, Darcy, Ryan and Duman) could all be pretty impactful in WAFL League this season. Unlike previous years draftees they are big bodies (except Duman, but I think is our rookie most likely to have a long career in the AFL - irrespective of my buddy bias).

I saw in the West almost none of the tipsters had Peel in the top 5 for this year, one had them second bottom!

This mustn't be the same Peel that beat Perth by 100 points and West Perth by 60 odd in the last couple of weeks.

I think we are in for a ball tearer of a year.

Yeah they got that from the WAFL Season Guide I think (http://www.wafooty.com.au/download/d/DArydtbpCjDexrszbyJUTBo0LwrWwnmpH_TQaFMp6zQ).

I was surprised as well but they are probably thinking that because we lost De Boer etc and then our quality youngsters from last year's side will all be playing AFL this year (Blakely, Langdon etc) that Peel won't be as competitive. I'm not expecting Peel to dominate but I'd back them in to make finals at this stage and more than likely another GF appearance.

Only scatchies mate Perth beat WP by 13 Goals after getting hammered by Peel the week before, I expect Peel to finish top three

It is only scratchies, but still can't see why the reigning premiers with good preseason form would be tipped to fall so far.

I also expect them to be top 3 - 4.

Think Peels line-up says equally strong things about Freo's round 1 line-up as peels.
No Weller (Obvious i guess), Blakely, (Langdon and Tucker) --> these 2 in particular Guarantees they're a part of our 22.
I like the way we've 'gifted' them games without making them compete/earn it over Sheridan/Crozier/Suban at peel and think it sends a good message to our direction with some of our 'nothing' players - Suban + Sheridan mainly (Would love to have seen Sutcliffe in that category too, but his ankle injury makes that tough)
Anyway I think there's good signs for the future and bloody hope everyone who could replace Ballas plays awesome so right from round 1 there is some fierce competition for spots.
Would love to see Balic and Tabs kill it and some signs from the others, aside from Suban who I'd like to perform, without over-performing, keeping himself well in the 2's. (Not a Suban hater just don't think it's the right direction for our club to be playing him atm)

East Perth has loaded up with West Coast players...

B Butler Barrass Fraser
HB Cole Schofield Watson
C Karpany Redden Duggan
HF Maginness Lamb Blee
F Oakley-Nicholls McInnes Hille
R Giles McGinnity Mutimer
I/C Wright Hick Gorter Partington Rotham Jones Snadden

16 currently listed players and a couple of former players (vs 13 Freo listed players for Peel). They have an experienced back line so will be a good test for Tabs and Cox. 18yo Sean Darcy up against 29yo Jonathan "New Year, New Team" Giles should be interesting to watch. Pretty strong midfield as well but their forward line looks a bit weak.

Also had another look at Peel's team and noticed O'Brien (31), Jetta (29) and Suban (26) are the only players 25+ (all Freo listed players are under 24 except Subes). I think the good news is even if you take out those older players, it's still a strong WAFL side. I wouldn't say the same for East Perth if you took out Butler (31), Schofield (28), Giles (29), Redden (26), McGinnity (28), Oakley-Nicholls (29) and Blee (27).

Can't see Peel winning this one given we have a bunch of 18 year olds playing key positions (ruck, CHB, & CHF) that will need some time to gel. But if they do win their season is looking very good given the many players on Freo's injury list that should flow back into the teams as the year progresses.

Wishful thinking methinks.

Peel will have to be very smart with moving the ball into their forward line or it will be coming out at a rate of knots time after time. Can't say I have any faith that they will lower their eyes. I think Barrass (who I rate highly) Schofield and Butler are going to be having field days unfortunately.
