For those of you worried about burning early trades to correct poor rookies etc, I wouldn't consider it a bad thing.

As long as that doesn't continue after the first few rounds, you will need those trades once the byes hit and you need all 3 trades each week.

I'm happy to burn all 4 before the bubble. Burn baby buuuuurn

I can't burn trades when my team is a smoldering pile of ash...

Draft a 28 year old key forward, drop him after one game which was in the wet. Strange bunch down a Port.
I am not happy either, however honestly it is not what Eddy so much did wrong, it is how the coaching staff view Impey. Ken really rates him and he was always coming back in this week. Eddy is just the unlucky one to miss out after such a great win. Eddy will be back in the team shortly, he won't be out too long.

I think one should keep an eye on churning out a reasonable score early as well. Rookies can suck fans in, but many rookies fail. This week everyone was rushing to get Butler in, next week many will be rushing to get WHE in. But I think its important to keep an eye on churning out scores, and sometimes waiting on rookies. May miss out on a couple, but more than likely you'll save yourself a trade.

Usually I'd agree. But not this year. I think we have an army of potato gems. Rookies with js are like gold. Especially if there good enough to put on the ground.

Good point.

Job security seems to be the biggest issue this early on.

I'm happy to role with McGrath for this reason. Good job security and plenty of upside with a decent price tag.
