Its round 1 mate at least give the comp a few weeks and then make some statements. Stating Westbourne are struggling might be underselling Hawthorn I hope Richmond start to believe Westbourne are struggling.
Glen Eira always going to be a tough ask given they were unlucky to come down but lets keep believing they are the best and lets see who is standing at the tough end .

Speaking to the guys at Hawthorn on Saturday and they said only about 8-10 players from last year's senior side played on the weekend.
They have recruited pretty well in the off season and looked pretty handy.

Hawthorn were good early conceded a lot of shots on goal after half time they will beat a few this year. Westbourne had a bad start credit to the opposition however I expect them to play finals. Interesting to see how Canterbury go this week they are a sleeper for me.

It was a good game to watch, both sides look pretty hard at it.

Hey HBB good to be back the Thread was lifeless so I thought I would get things going. Obviously Bedford thinks I have been watching too much soccer.
They looked ok Hawthorn you would have looked at our T sheet and seen quite a few different we will be better after round 4. Not surprised by GE result as the decision to send them down looks like it has box seated them for a flag but stranger things have happened. Looking forward to a beer with you had a few chats but havent caught up in a while. Westbourne always enjoy the Canterbury games.
