Allies defence is shit without Dirk Koenen. WA out to 21-zip
Budarick should have won a free in F50, but was pinged for a sling tackle. Looks great for a bottom ager.

Budarick looks a nice size for a underager , Scott has gotten taller from the Neafl games I saw him play last year , looks to have a look of poise .

Caleb Graham on the field, zero points scored by WA. Nick Blakey is getting mugged by Regan Spooner and should have had 2 or 3 goals instead of his 1 goal and spilled mark that was rushed for a behind.

I’ve heard he’s staying on the gc
Yep, we covered that on the GCSunscast. Word from those close to his family says that he's keen to remain home, just like Blakey with Sydney.

Caleb Graham looks like a young Steven May.
Allies 7 WA 27

Bailey Scott getting into the game with a goal assist.
Umpires letting them play, barely calling anything.
WA 33 Allies 13

Connor Budarick with a goal assist. He and Scott having gone for crew cuts
WA 24 Allies 25
Luke English is excellent. Brother of Tim, but a foot shorter.

Luke is not related to Tim at all . Medhat is the surprise for me kicking three goal and good mark .

Bailey Scott the best for the Allies that quarter, playing through the middle and across halfback. This is a B-team without the flash and defence of previous games. With Koenen at CHB the Allies have been staunch, but the current back 6 are getting broken open at CHF without him. Caleb Graham has been good in defence after coming off the bench, but a little lost after playing forward and back for the past 5 weeks.

Yep, I read that they were brothers, but apparently not. Medhat was a late inclusion and is making the most of his opportunity.

Captaining today, 16 touches, 4 tackles and showing plenty of willingness to get into the tough stuff. Draft priority. AFL Draft Central has inexplicably left him out of the top 30. I'm nervous about him, not whether he chooses us because that's moot, but when he gets a rival bid is all important because we could get him super cheap if he get called at the right time.

Need to get him to commit first , reading the North board they are very confident they will get him.

Bailey Scott just had a brilliant shot on goal from the pocket touched on the line - looked across to me. Then WA pinged for "density" not having 3 players behind halfway, Scott takes the kick and goals.
WA 64 Allies 47
Scott with 5 goals for the tournament. 20 touches so far
Budarick playing out of his skin. Love the effort.

Can't see the kid going to North after the way they treated his old man in 99.

Allies starting the final quarter with Scott, Graham and Budarick in the forward line.

Scott looks really good. I thought his old man had a bit of a beef with North over his treatment during his time there? North would be third in line I would’ve thought?
If I was Scott, I’d be happier to stay at home (you know Mum’s cooking and all). He’s a better chance to get games early with us. If he’s keen on going to Melbourne, wait a couple of years for the big offers to come and he’d have a bigger choice of clubs.

just tuned in to watch the last quarter and gee Baily Scott must of had a big growth spurt in the past 9-12 month l.

That mark and kick to blacky at the start of the 4th quarter was all class

Fraser Tuner look good also 19 disposal , 2 goal .

Surely that goal to Stack was a free kick against. He was tackled just dropped the ball before drop kicking the ball. You can’t drop kick when being tackled.

WA lead by 14 with 6 min to go. Allies are not cohesive, relying on Blakey to play midfield. WA have some talented players and have suffered from continually playing away.

Tarryn Thomas with a brilliant mark and goal. WA by 8, 5 min to go.

Bailey Scott marks and rushes the kick. Behind.

Gee I hope he picks us.
He's all class future leader no doubt about it IMG_2004.JPG

He's AFL ready. We'll see more of him in the NEAFL. Future Captain material. Maturity and intangibles make him a bloke every club would want. 30 disposals today, plus another 10 or so 1%ers and 9 score involvements. Talked to a reporter after the game and could take a masterclass with some of the Suns blokes. Makes Tom Lynch look like an amateur.
