Let me reiterate, I would like Scrimshaw to tough it out & prove his worth with the Suns next year. If that's what he wants too, he'll get a lot of support here. He could put paid to most of the rumours by pledging support in an interview or on social media.

He was physically underdone when he made his AFL debut in 2017, but had good reasons for that. He looks like he's ready for another crack. I think he'll get his chance in 2019 & I hope that's at the Suns. He's definitely got talent.

Agree with all of your comments Fat Pizza but he's not one to draw media attention, still a shy young man. All I would say is the club hasnt made any statement committing to him and he has no idea what they are going to do come trade week, just as all those delisted this week had no idea either. Club needs to strive for more honesty and communication, not just around this time of year but every week leading up to it. The club is the bigger entity here. Wouldnt you agree?

All I would say is the club hasnt made any statement committing to him and he has no idea what they are going to do come trade week, just as all those delisted this week had no idea either. Club needs to strive for more honesty and communication, not just around this time of year but every week leading up to it. The club is the bigger entity here. Wouldnt you agree?

Are you suggesting that you can’t have an active discussion about trade and draft possibilities without making stuff up or turning something that was speculation into fact.

Im talking generally here... If the AFL website posts a rumour that a player wants to return home (especially from the GC under the circumstances), I agree probably not a media release but do you think the club should sit down with him and say, "hey, what was that all about"? Doesnt matter if the club wants him to stay or leave or what the player wants to do, its about transparency, honesty and communication. This is what builds trust and that strong culture the club is looking for. The club is the bigger entity so they should be very much more professional and systematic about it. This is where the club needs to stand up and take ownership of why players leave. It serves no benefit to the club to blame the AFL, Victoria,the player or anything else. It is a given hurdle to the club which I believe they are working really hard to overcome and Im sure things will improve with the good people in place. Hope this makes sense Bass...Just MO.

Yeah with rumours abound, and many players having left before you would think the club would come up with some kind of formal way of addressing it with players.

What is speculation - I think Holman is playing very well this season , he should earn a two year contract extension.

Fact is Tom Lynch is moving to Melbourne

Speculation and made up shit is I think David Swallow wants to go home because of a reason I made up and because someone told me he doesn’t get along with the coaching staff

What is the rational for that?
To allow us to bring more players onto the senior list now.. effectively delisting rischitelli with the plan to pick him up again once the main drafting is done?

Yeah that would be the plan effectively delisting him and picking him up in the rookie draft. Leaves more spaces on the senior list.

I’m comfortable in my rant having abilities. They don’t occur often and sometimes the build up becomes too difficult to withhold.

I’ll probably feel like it was too much tomorrow but for now I’m just frustrated with hearing all the shit and glad to get that off my chest.

averaged 11 disposals, just under 3 1%ers as a defender, has no pace, questionable disposal and I wouldn't say his leadership wasn't so good that we couldn't cover it with someone else - ie. Hodge

I love what Rischitelli has done for our football club. He's an original Sun, and he was a great soldier for many years for us, but he's so far past it, and this in my opinion was the wrong decision.

If he takes Scrimshaw's spot next season i'll be ropeable
