Not sure the big thing on getting forward Josh corbett in when we can barely get the ball into our F50

Anyhows i’ll leave it to the professionals
Even if we don't want him, it might be worth picking him with the idea of trading him on draft night for a nice pick from a club who want him more than us. Don't forget, live trading on draft night this year makes this a pretty big advantage for us and gives us plenty of options.

You are the one who completely fabricated the trade I proposed, which was nothing like the rubbish you posted. How about you not come onto the Suns board and accuse one of our members of lying? You go back and find your mistake before persisting in your own lies.

But since you are so interested, in 2015, the Dogs sent pick #11 and what became the final pick of the 3rd round to Carlton for #20 and #21 as barberbarbarian says. I see a similar scenario for picks #16, (note: but it's not pick 16, it's either pick 17 or 18) #26 and #29. You guys can get on your high horses, but you just get arguing in circles with examples that validate my predictions. Yes, they are speculative and favour the Suns because this is the Suns Board.
You do see the mistake in your first sentence don't you? I can't fabricate something you proposed.

No where have I accused you of lying. All I have said is that your initial proposed trade was crazy, and that the examples you tried to use to support your trade don't actual support what you proposed.

And I quoted you directly the first time, I didn't rewrite what you typed. You proposed a trade of picks 17-18 (the West Coast pick), 26 and 29 for either pick 5, 6 or 7.

None of the subsequent past trades you tried to use as examples comes close to what you originally proposed.

The Dogs pick 11 is not similar to pick 5, 6 or 7. There are many nuances to every trade, one being the different levels of perceived talent or tiers of talent. This year there has been a lot of talk about the "super seven", i.e. the top seven rated kids in this draft. No one is trading out of the top 7 for a late first and a couple of mid second round picks.

See the note I made in quoting you above. It's not pick 16. Richmond hold pick 16. West Coasts pick will be either pick 17 or 18. Again none of the examples you have tried to use validate your point.

The forward line needs to full overhaul - it is very poor and lacks depth.

We have inside mids, just don't have any balanced and outside mids which you will struggle to find those types in state leagues.

That is a pretty good summation of the last paragraph of my post, except you're spinning it to the extreme. After Dahlhaus compo and a few trades other than trading out of #6 they should be fine. There is still an inherent risk in hoping West doesn't get a bid that early because it doesn't really cost whoever is picking before them anything - bid on West and either get a good young player because his Dad's club wouldn't match the bid OR get a good young player anyway because it is top 10 in the Draft.

The whole point of speculating is to try to imagine what recruiters might do. Maybe the Dogs convince Port to overpay for #6 or Adelaide. The Suns are the club who are going to have the most picks, so why not speculate on the SUNS BOARD. Feel free to go and speculate all you like on the Tigers Board.
Looks like when you dont agree with what a poster writes or is not with your agenda you tend to tell people to go to their own board, If this thread was a suns supporters only thread then i would totally respect that and not post on it but its not and the rules allow me to post here and i will continue but if you dont like or agree with it then feel free to ignore my posts, But i have as much right (according to the rules) to post here as much as you do.

What you need to understand is that most suns supporters were supporters from other teams and 1 day i might move up to the coast and watch more suns games than you.

But thanks for your direction to the richmond board

Rischitelli was on the retiring players thing at the Brownlow? Is he retiring now or playing on.

I know they said he’s staying on the rookie list but could it be a joel patfull type thing do they don’t have to recruit more playrrs

Is Gorringe playing up on the Coast? Did someone need an athletic big man with a great leap that can’t play footy to save himself
I thought he was signed up to play for North Balwyn in Melbourne until Rocket arrived. Not sure what he ended up doing after that.

Played a dozen games for Park Orchards in Div 2 Eastern Football League. He kicked 35 goals & went ok but so he should in that division.

Nic Newman linked to North, that's a new one as of today
He toured North's facilities last week. Rhyce Shaw has moved there as an Assistant Coach so that may be the attraction of North over other Vic clubs. Newman can play, I don't reckon he was correctly used at the Swans this year, would be a good pick up for what is probably a 3rd rounder or pick upgrade.

I know I'm on your board but some of the trades suggested by one of your posters are pure fantasy, just so far from reality, particularly in this draft. Hope you guys use pick 2 & 3 on the SA high school classmates Lukocious and Rankine, immense talents.
