So you take what's left at 8 and a bloke who struggles to kick or high risk/reward player at 13. Enjoy.

So we'll take a premium player at eight, including some you're considering at 3, and we'll get a kid who's already dominating senior footy at 13, or a 191cm mid who smashed it in the TAC finals.

We'll get two players who will play 200+ games for us. Hell, with four picks that are almost all first rounders, we could get four players that do that.

The guy who doesn't want to move interstate and the guy who'll probably amount to being Jack Gunston?
No stress remember , even GC don't take him at 3 ,St Kilda and Port might take him at 4,5.

No, picks 8 and 13 are great picks. We'll get excellent players from there. We were in the Grand Final last year with no players from the top ten, so to have four picks that are as close as hell to all being first rounders is amazing for us.
Crows are good drafters and developers of young talent so in all likelihood you will get good players relative to your drafting position.

However it might be not the generational talent that could be available in the top 3.

So your getting the modern day version of Shane and Travis Tuck?

so sounds like you'd prefer to keep pick 8 & 13 then, yeah?

One could argue that Crows are the best in finding and developing talent. For me it will be interesting to see what Crows will do. Their window to win it all is open but not for much longer (1-2 more years?). Do they pay overs to get Rankine (if Suns are not into him) who could arguably help them straight away or use all their picks with a view to start process of rebuilding.

Suns are perfectly placed in this draft, don't need any trade picks scenarios promoted by other teams fans. As Cameron said it would have to be an unbelievable offer (overs). For Suns much more important is to create the best environment for development of players. New coaches, welfare, development, performance teams suggest Suns are getting there. Suns need to back themselves up and pick players they identified as the best ones while considering team needs.
