Sorry, it was an attempt at humour.....a lot of advocates aren't heard from after signing up so BT keeps the player threads updated with media etc. hence thanking BT is the only thing advocates need to do.

Everyone gets to select a player in a randomly generated draft (with the top 3 decided by mods based on performance in the previous year).

The advocate basically takes responsibility for the player in terms of posting relevant media articles, photos, matche reviews and generating discussion for their player.

Tends to lose traction as the year goes on but some get into it. Plus it helps with some of the lesser lights and younger players getting some discussion.

I'm in, but may I suggest that BT gets first pick, as he has, as mentioned above, practically done everyone's work for them as far as this goes in recent months (if not longer), so I reckon he's well and truly earned the first choice for this year.

The most effective way is to provide a colourful description of the players performance for each week.
