His brother is better and not held together by rubber bands.

My starting midfield line-up.

M: Danger, Fyfe, Oliver, Titch, M.Crouch, Kelly, rookie, rookie (rookie, rookie, rookie)

2018 is the Chinese Year of the Raven.*
Beware. Get around me!

*Not actually true but who cares it sounded good at the time and nobody will check anyway

On my "Matty Jaensch Never Again List":

- Harbrow
- Balic
- Hannebery
- T. Lynch (GC)
- H. Shaw

Players I'm interested in for next year:

- Rayner (been following the kid for years, he is a freak)
- Naish (F/S to Richmond, high F/S picks in the past have been pretty decent)
- Petrucelle (Whoever drafts him will do well with him, kid is super quick and surely a R1 starter)
- Naitanui (should be cheap as chips, set and forget R1)
- T. McDonald (surely would get a DPP card)
- Gawn (set and forget R2, also should be cheaper due to being injured most the season)
- J. Smith (MELB) (cheap option down back after horror injuries this year, he's almost best 22 for us)
- Hogan (would be significantly cheap after a difficult season on and off the ground, could be the Roughead of 18')
- Brayshaw (doing really well in the magoos after coming back from injury, should be on the cheaper side next year)
- Weideman (I know KPF's don't score especially well, but he'll be sub 180K and pushing best 22)
- Cripps (again cheaper due to injury)
- Hampson (speculative pick, some of my Richmond mates reckon he'll retire. He was in his best form last year. If he comes good again after this injury, surely Richmond play him and Nank as a Cox/Naitanui-style duo?)
- Freeman (if he finally gets a decent run, bloke is injury plagued as hell)

If Gawn has another 2 good games, like 120 odds he'll be priced at 550k+ next season

David Armitage could be a potential stepping stone option next year depending on price. Played 2 games at 70 average and should get some discount.

Saints fans will prob correct me but I would not like his job security next year with the emergence of Ross and Billings unless he is favoured over Koby Stevens.

Hes another one ill probably get sucked into getting next year at the price he'll be and his potential scoring out put, i can nearly feel the rage already for when he goes down injured in round 4.

Don't do it, once your knee's gone, it's gone. Can't replace cartilage and bone on bone ain't much fun....so they tell me

Never again:
GC Lynch
Rance
Dahlhaus
Picking up guys at the byes who have just had the one good half-season of their careers (GAGF Roberton and Yeo).

Feeling good about skipping Shaw, Pendles, JJ this year. Thought they were all fully priced at best, and probably declining. Pendles a good chance to come back in at a better price for me next year.

First picked next year:
D Martin (NM MID/FWD)
J Kelly (NM MID)
L McDonald (NM MID/DEF)
P Ahern (NM MID/FWD)

And if Scott could just park Ziebell forward for the rest of the year to qualify him for DPP that would be much appreciated.

Also might consider Oliver.

What's the discount for someone missing the entire year through injury? 20%? 33%?

Just wondering if CEY could be one of those higher priced rookie picks next year, provided he can actually get a gig at the crowies or if he's on the move or something.

Has any player lost their DPP status or had a positional even though they've missed the entire year?

Yeah i know mate i was half joking, i do love a good bargain though. Ill definitley be starting with one of the bargain priced mids such as rocky, Jelwood, Pendles e.t.c

Think full year is 40%

Never again:
Mummy, JJ and Sloane, Hannebery, Pittard
Greene very close and could depend on options up forward considering when he plays he is a genuine premo. Misses too many games though.
