St Kilda overview relevant players:

Def:
Roberton - 90-95 avg
Coffield - May play games - watch JLT - 60-65 avg

Mid:
Ross - 100-105 avg
Steven - 100-105 avg
Dunstan/Acres/Steele - All in the breakout category IMHO - Watch JLT
Clark - Watch JLT - 60-65 avg
FREEMANNNN - WATCH JLT. OKAY Seymour Skinner

Ruck:
Longer - 80-85 avg - PASS
Pierce - If Longer/Hickey go down he will play & should be 123k

FWD:
Roo. Oh wait. **** YOU Here2tellyouwhy !!!

Billings: He is my personal pick as a Saint. I'm expecting 95-100 avg from Jack. Bias aside wait & see, Gray/Heeney/Menogola/Dollhouse much safer picks but if Billings hits the ground running WATCH OUT! Hai_Newman
Why can't we pick Too and Sam Butler this year :'(

Am I the only person who watches Parish play and thinks “this bloke was a top 10 pick”? Really don’t see anything in his game that’s screams elite afl player.

Essendon need a big bodied midfielder badly. Got a potential bargain with the Stringer deal but IMO Matt Kennedy would’ve been much better suited than their recruits.

Hope people pick Parish as a forward, pretty certain he won’t go 85+.
For me he doesn’t impact the contest enough but that will come with time. He doesn’t quite have the size and strength yet. I’d say he was definitely a top 10 pick.
I’ll be considering him as a forward.

They go to Perth in round three, then it’s just the GC game I think he’d be 100% rested for. I expect 20 games from him this year.

I just love having Gaz in my team.
Ablett comes with a lot of risk. I know he had personal issues but hasn’t played more than 15 games in a season for the past 4 years. He’s in fact only averaging a tick over 12 games a year over the last four years.
On the positive for Ablett he hasn’t averaged below 114 for the last 11 years.
Turning 34 next year and too risky for me.

They are talking about the team picker on the actually SC site, it's opening tomorrow and if you had Supercoach Gold last year you'll have access too it.

And if you didn't have gold it'll only take a couple days for another site to release an Excel doc that let's you pick a team once they sort out all the numbers.

I have so much to do at work this week. With supercoach opening I may be out of a job by the weekend.
Supercoach is your job now

Turning 34 next year and too risky for me.
Ablett destroyed my side last season, particularly come finals time in my leagues ......."yes i'm playing, no i'm not" .......how many weeks did he say this, yes and of course i held him, and ended up with a premo sitting on my bench the entire finals campaign

NEVER AGAIN !! .......but then i've said the same about Buddy :( ......also BUDDY NEVER AGAIN !

Ablett was clearly resting his body knowing he'd be back at Geelong next season ready to give it his all.

I'm not saying he's a lock or anything, I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised at all if he 'mysteriously' is a lot more durable next season playing every game (or only missing 1-2 in total). He'll play in the midfield and score very well, so I'm definitely considering him.

Good to see he brought the Kool aid with him :p

So how do Danger, Selwood, & Ablett share all the SC Points ? .......surely Danger won't stand for that :p

But seriously .....there will be a bit of one upmanship for title of Topcat?

This is the biggest argument for not starting with any of the 3 geelong boys. Danger dropped to 560k averaging 120 with Selwood only playing ok. Add A fit Ablett in the mix and the likelihood that both will play more fwd and I see the opportunity to pick them up later at a lower price and once we see how the setup works is a smarter move.
The 150k saved will turn a mid pricer into a keeper.

Haha that's a good question, that's why I can definitely see the appeal of not starting with Dangerfield because Gaz will take points + we may play Danger forward more because he's so dangerous up there, though that may not affect his scoring if he kicks goals the way he does aha.

J. Selwood would be a great POD I reckon because out of the main 3 he's the only one who's not great up forward tbh, both Danger & Ablett will spend time up forward (Danger more than Ablett imo) and Selwood will likely be full time midfield.

I'll only be picking 1 and it is still likely to be Dangerfield, but definitely not ruling out starting with Gaz and waiting for Danger to lower in price.

I see Mitch Duncan dropping.
Not danger or Jelwood
