What's with the 3 man interchange?
Scott Lycett is from SA
Beams was born in Victoria but played football from ages 13 to 17 in Queensland, which is where State of Origin eligibility comes from. Cyril Rioli hasn't played overly well and is from the NT anyway. And like I've said multiple times, it's a rolling team of the season based on performance only so of course it's not gonna be 100% yet, it's gonna be heavily skewed towards players who did well in the first two weeks funnily enough.
Can't stress this enough - based purely on performance. Someone like Ed Curnow will more than likely not be in the squad later on but his start to the season warrants his inclusion. Also I have no idea why multiple people think Cyril would play for Western Australia when he was born and raised in the Territory, played footy from 14 to 18 for Scotch College, and as far as I know never played for a WA side.
Fair enough, got me there. I will say the thread title does not immediately give the idea of a week to week best side from each state, when you put in "state of origin" guess what the immediate thought is? And I know I'm not the only one who has read the title not as it is intended.
How about "Best performers each round from each state" - take out the "State of Origin"
BTW I still maintain from the 1st 3 rounds you should have Danger, Dusty and Pendles and add Sides and GAJ in the Vic side.
My bad again. I absolutely butchered it for Round 1. Thanks man.
WA v VIC would be unrealROUND 5 STATE OF ORIGIN TEAMS

Seb Ross, Jack Steven and Sidebottom on the field for the Vics? Honestly, WTF is that side, where's Josh Kelly, Toby Greene, etc?
There are better options:

I'm not picking off of ability, I'm picking from performances this season.
The Allies would beat South Australia
Someone like Macrae then would be first picked then, Steven and Ross wouldn't see the side either.
Keep in mind that these teams are backdated to Round 5, so it's more than likely Macrae will feature in the Round 6 side.
I feel like a lot of people have missed the point of this thread.
