Still mulling over whether to start with a ruck backup or not. Westhoff's value goes down if no Dixon/Ryder as he'll be needed fwd rather than being Mr. Fix it. Lycett's value depends on Ryder being out for an extended period.
My point is it's no good waiting for an injury to get backup as you may not be in the position to simply trade one in at the time.

So you take Lycett instead of Heeney based on the prediction that your R1 or R2 may go down. I’d prefer to pick the best team possible and deal with problems if they arise.

Yeah that's probably a better approach. As I said Hoff and Lycett don't excite me as options, and no way would they take Heeney's spot.
The problem is if u lose a ruck with no cash, no rookies on the bubble, and no rookies ready to cull what do you?
Maybe the best option is to grab Hoff when Ryder is fit and his price is lower.

Worst case scenario you swap a Premo to a Hoff or Lycett or cull a rookie early. But let’s be honest, bar the first two or three rounds, there’s never really a scenario that you’re describing.
