So you take Lycett instead of Heeney based on the prediction that your R1 or R2 may go down. I’d prefer to pick the best team possible and deal with problems if they arise.Still mulling over whether to start with a ruck backup or not. Westhoff's value goes down if no Dixon/Ryder as he'll be needed fwd rather than being Mr. Fix it. Lycett's value depends on Ryder being out for an extended period.
My point is it's no good waiting for an injury to get backup as you may not be in the position to simply trade one in at the time.

West Adelaide
West AdelaidePies just doing a warm up, sharing the ball around, so all players get a feel of the leatherAt 1/2 time Pies have almost twice as many possies than the Blues, yet young Blues have won more contested possessions and clearances. For all their dominance Pies midfield is a bit like the Doggies in it's effectiveness.
West AdelaideThe Funky Gibbon is not up to it.
Time to look elsewhere
Yeah that's probably a better approach. As I said Hoff and Lycett don't excite me as options, and no way would they take Heeney's spot.So you take Lycett instead of Heeney based on the prediction that your R1 or R2 may go down. She’s knows her stuff after consecutive top 50 finishes.

Worst case scenario you swap a Premo to a Hoff or Lycett or cull a rookie early. But let’s be honest, bar the first two or three rounds, there’s never really a scenario that you’re describing.Yeah that's probably a better approach. As I said Hoff and Lycett don't excite me as options, and no way would they take Heeney's spot.
The problem is if u lose a ruck with no cash, no rookies on the bubble, and no rookies ready to cull what do you?
Maybe the best option is to grab Hoff when Ryder is fit and his price is lower.
39DT Probably 40odd SCWhat's he on? Agree though, Roberton too big of a risk now
Was just going to suggest that. A cheap loophole D/F swingman probably handy as wellOooooo Roberton to Moore, Sam Collins to Ridley and I bank 14k.
Ooooooozing sex.
West AdelaideYou need to out more oftenCripps is pure sex

Liam Stocker, I think they're worried about playing him for more than 20 minutes in case he needs oxygen therapy.
Especially with C Burgess in the FWD line. That option has made me excited. Was just going to suggest that. A cheap loophole D/F swingman probably handy as well
