Wanted to say some things in the #sackhinkley but most aren't about Ken so figured I would say them here.
I am not giving up on Port Adelaide, even though some may say I already did last year when I didn't renew, I can't stop supporting the club. Supporting the club however, has never put me more at odds with the club doing well, so to speak.
There's Hinkley, which there's other places to belly ache.
There's KT, who has lost any touch he used to have.
There's the prison bars being wheeled out, exclusively vs the camry crows, in what is probably going to be a twilight fox footy fixture ft. Derwayno, and the deathly silence surrounding the reported 'never again' clause (how did the deathly silence around Hinkley work out?).
There's the social media team. Post you sad reacts and lols here!
There's making the community proud, clearly at the expense and maybe even distraction from out football.
I do know I'm not giving up. There's between not much and nothing I can do really, not being a member anymore, not being a local, but if there is any truth that people from the club read the boards, those of us with critical opinions need to stay, because if this place becomes half a dozen bed wetters equally numbered by the happy clapping true believers, the micro-ism of supporters that it represents will do more harm than good.
Alberton will burn. Whether that is by an angry mob to build it back to what it was and what it can and should be, or by sheer ineptitude by it's current custodidians, I don't know yet.
