Pick #32 from 2020 draft... Rising Star nominee & 2 Brownlow votes on debut for the Swans. The kid goes alright Plays beyond his years and as Cal Twomey wrote - 'death by a thousand kicks' for opposition teams. Knows where to go and where to kick it and has been a joy to watch this year.

Advent Calendar Draft Day 18:

Let's talk Joe Scanlan who wore #18. A tough defender & Bloods captain in 1928, 30-31 who played 148 games. When the Bloods signed the great Laurie Nash, it was Scanlan as South Melbourne committee member who was smuggled on board a steamer when he travelled to Tasmania to avoid tipping anyone in the media off.
