Can Caruso actually pull this off?
If he's within 90 seconds of either tomorrow I reckon he wins. I'd love Yates to win but if Caruso got up...

Congrats to Caruso but in the end that was too well ridden by Ineos for anyone to ultimately capitalise on any pain Bernal's back might be causing
Honestly, over the three weeks, this is the right result. Bernal's been the best, then Caruso, then Yates.

The start of the ITT is set in the centre of Senago. The stage is played out on wide and mostly straight roads, as far as Sesto San Giovanni. From here on, the course runs almost straight up to 2 km from the finish in Piazza Duomo. Tramway tracks, roundabouts and street furniture are found repeatedly along the route.
Final kilometres
In the stage finale, the route first runs on wide avenues, and then on narrowed roads over the last few hundred metres, with several consecutive 90-degree turns over the last 100-150 metres, before entering Piazza Duomo. The home straight (250 m) is on 6 m wide stone-paved road.

Caruso is an extremely outside chance of winning but I can't see it. He needed to be within 90 seconds I reckon

Caught up on the last 2 stages. Martinez, what a monster effort for Bernal and still finished top 5. Ganna does a bike change and still wins after 3 weeks of towing his team on the flat roads. The best thing about this race for me was seeing the likes of DSM and Bahrain not being afraid to take it up to the stronger teams. Bernal dominated the race from week 1, Caruso and Yates haven't had really bad days, just beaten by a much better rider.
