I know it’s not round 22 but if anyones wants to double their money - round 23 Lions v Dees.

Melbourne will beat us, they have our number.
I think Brisbane are a tough side to beat at the GABBA. Im not sure if the price will change too much if Brisbane Lose this week/ or Melbourne win this week for the odds to change that much for the following week.

Price will definitely change v Dees, if Lions cant roll the Saints at the Dome.

Had a look at the fixtures , most of the teams vying for finals position probably wont make the same mistake as last week by looking at percentages over the win this week. Swans and Brisbane last week probably made the mistake of chasing percentage when they were up by fair margins during their games. When ideally, probably sitting back and protecting/defending their percentage would have been to the way to go.

Can be a bit of a danger or trap for teams chasing percentage.

Looking at the fixture, it looks a fairly straight forward week in terms of favourites winning? if you were basing it on motivation/incentive :

Bris/WB/Adel/Geel/Melbourne (with no Cripps)/Freo/Richmond to all win

Swans v Collingwood , Essendon v Port Adelaide , seem to be the games where the underdogs have a chance of winning this week. And you can make a case for either wanting to win.

Brisbane v Saints- Brisbane on paper are the better team
WB V GWS- Bulldogs have a slim top 8 chance of making the Playoffs and will want to win to keep their chances alive next round.
Adelaide v North- North want the number 1 pick for 2023, whilst they looked against the Swans last week , they were never going to win the game.
Gold Coast v Geelong- Geelong will want to secure the minor premiership with a solid win this week
Melbourne v Carlton- Carlton without Cripps, and coming off a trip to Brisbane, on top of an extra few days against a freshened up Dees
Freo v WCE- Freo are in finals mode, and West Coast have put the cue in the rack for 2022 way earlier in the season. There might be a sense of recovery mode without Josh Kennedy, and also Willie Rioli
Richmond v Hawthorn- Richmond will have the motivation to cement the 8 spot, against a young Hawks side - looking from the scoreboard were unflattering last week against the Suns.

Im usually a guy that likes touching underdogs but even at the handicaps , Im not too keen to touch any of those ones listed in those first 7 games.

Tim English should see more time forward with Martin named. Was $5 for 2+ ok PB but they only accepted $10 of my bet and suspended the market the absolute cowards. $3.90 on SportsBet the next best i can find
It looks like they have taken English off

Ill take a bit of thes Pies to beat Sydney at the SCG at 3.25 .(Feel like anything above 2.85+ still a good price to get) Seems a bad too big for a team on a large consecutive run.

Also playing in Sydney won't phase Collingwood.

Just had a quick look at the stats, I think $5 would have been fair odds for him to get 2+ Goals. Not sure how Id keen to be taking anything less than that.

You have to go back to 2021 Rds 3-4 , when English and Martin played together, to find English kick 3 goals in each of those games, with him playing with Martin.

Ben Long named HF, played 75% FWD last week and kicked 1.1. Will he go back to defence now I have backed him? probably.

2/3 @ 9.50/46s

I advise anyone who got on Jack Henry for goals to cash out now - with Rohan back in there’s no chance Henry plays forward.

Not if you are from Melbourne, this is when they start rolling 😉
Im all good with sharing cross sport multis. (not sure what the mods think about that ) I dont think there has ever been a restriction on those kind of posts. I like golf, and dont mind multing with a few different sports codes from time to time. Something like a golf tournament carries over 4 days, and its not the worst thing to have something to carry over to the following day.

Ben Cunnington AGS $1.85 (365) - 1u

It got me thinking today as I was mindless pounding the treadmill, if we bet like this at a casino, the amount of freebies we would have got back in the day, would be extraordinary, at least those losses we had could be comped by casino's giving us free drinks/meals/accommodation etc etc.

I know some degens on here go large too.
