Enough is enough. Ed Curnow has been a great servant and one of my favourites over the years, but he should not now named in the AFL in preference to Dow. Would love to know the real story as to why the MC plays this ridiculous game. Driving a young guy with real potential out of the club, and we'll get virtually nothing back. Why?

All about % now. AFL quality defenders, would be an imposing back six to go up against. However nbas havent done themselves too many favours all day. HOK better with each game. Game plan and positioning a lot better.

I believe it's his decision-making/execution by foot that is the issue. Particularly at senior level.
Maybe his tank as well at that level.

I'd understand if we were playing a powerhouse AFL team this week, or we had a foot in the door to finals. Neither of those things are true.

And they've done what's required and put them to the sword whilst dow has looked 18 classes above. You can only play your schedule and over the last 15 years our vfl has either lost these games or promoted players who hardly stood out.

Quality of opposition is a factor to consider but even considering it you can see how many levels above someone is.

He has been fantastic. He knows the coaching staff won't play him, yet he is just turning up every week (2 years now) and is making a statement.
The complete club should be embarrassed by this and I wish the guy all the best. I have no doubt the excuses by the club apologists will be ready. but for me it's important we sign-up and play others who put in such huge empowering efforts every week!!

Paddy is a class above this level, sadly another club will be the beneficiary next year.
Hope he shines at another club.
He has a point of difference from most of our midfield in that he is quick over his 1st 5 metres which is a important attribute.

Ed is in as a tagger pure and simple, along with his running power.

I would like to see Dow in the side personally, he has done enough.

Having said that, I can't see Dows disposal by foot improving. It is structurally flawed (leg locks straight when kicking).

You watching this game? Kicking has been spot on from set shot & general play. Arguably the most penetrating kick on the ground
