In the U16’s game from 2 weekends ago, we saw the first 2026 name in the game in May Kensley.
Whether she goes on and plays well enough to warrant future representation is up to May and who she’s surrounded by but we now have a 2026 foundation.
In South Australia, there was an intrastate representative game and, one of the players was another 2008 born prospect in Elke Cameron.
It might be too early to pour the cement that forms the foundation of 2026 and we don’t know what the strength of it will be like but, in May Kensley, we have a framework to work with.
The next 4 years is all that matters with this crop.
