Just 7 days (Nov 20th) to the AFL National Draft ......Rookies are so critical to our seasons, and like never B4, we need good FWD and DEF Rookies

As soon as we have the Draft results ....we'll look to put up a spreadsheet of junior scoring

Ollie Hollands will go to another level
The way Walsh is training I expect him to be a Top 5 mid
Cerra will improve again. Looks great
Williams is as fit as I have ever seen him
TDK to become a genuine No.1 ruck
Docherty will be fit for Rd One after foot surgery

I don't expect any of our draftees this year to debut early

playing around I think you can get it down to 4 plus Coffield/Sharp.

What roles do we see them playing?

Best 22 with good roles

Duursma - half forward?
Caddy - 3rd tall

I'll be surprised ....very surprised if Curtin doesn't play round 1

I’ve got him at D7 hoping he has good JS and can plod along as coverage.

A couple of other rookie priced players, Gibcus, Matt Roberts, Toby Pink

*Edit....Not sure yet as to the number of on field rookies I'll have, although I'm leaning towards 6 or 7. Mainly because of the 4 byes in the first 6 rnds where it's only best 18 so 4 of those on field rookie scores would drop off. There should be 2 or 3 good rookie scores most games.

one of the most overrated things about fantasy footy is 'how many rooks on field'. the less rookies you have on field means the less keepers you have and less guns you have and more trades you have to make. Last year showed up anyone who spoke about rookies on field as Sheezel was a keeper all year long.

For the dees, Tholstrop or Windsor are probably likely to play some games but hard to say how many. Tholstrup looks to be ahead .
