Not a great night with VC Bont scoring a 99, new high priced recruit Zorko serving up a 95 and Freijah with a 53 that won't count.

Neale 38 possessions, 14 contested at 84% and 2 goals for 133.

Bont would have double toned with those numbers.

If only Neale's name was Nealempelli, he would have double tonned with those stats in a big away win.

Funnily enough, Neale had the exact same disposal and goal line as Bont last week (17 kicks, 21 handballs, 2 goals). Bont with 2 more CPs but slightly less clean.

Difference is Bont laid 9 tackles last week to Neale’s 2 tonight, and basically won the game off his own boot. That’s the 30-40 point difference.

Zorko's BE gonna be around 185. Obviously makes sense to hold, but in a round where lots will have trouble even fielding 18, banking points could give you a big boost next week. If you want Zorko, you really want him for this stretch of games:

Make sure to do your sums on whatever you plan thereafter.
End up a day late and a dollar short on future upgrades, might be a sad panda.
If you're flush for cash and Zorko's basically your final, happy days

You can’t simply compare scores between two different games because of the 3300.

But, 7 tackles is 24 points. Not 50. And that’s ignoring the extra 10% of Bonts disposals that were worth 0 points.

I'm going to pay up for him too I think.

I currently have 9 mid premos and the plan was to sideways Clarry to Zorko at his bye, thought about deviating but there's just no good options down forward - I already have Fisher/Heeney/Jackson and I'm not going to trade in someone who hasn't had their bye yet.

I think Bont deserved more last week, that was a 200+ game. I think Neale deserved more tonight. 2 very different games, played very differentially, so there's gotta be context. There was 33 more tackles in last week's match than the one tonight. Anyway it is what it is.

Think I might be in for a bad week. Have 21 this week including Mcaullife, only tonne is Dunks so far from 8 played and used my VC on Zorko (although NickyD is a great backup C). Need a few big scores from my premos tomorrow to balance out the spud scores from Macrae and friends.
