You'd think that Cousens would have highlighted him.Wonder if we're one of the clubs.
Meanwhile, four clubs have inquired about Swans Academy graduate Caleb May, a 208cm ruckman, after an eye-catching finish to the SANFL season with West Adelaide.
The 20-year-old averaged 30 hit-outs (eight to advantage), 14 disposals, 12 contested possessions and kicked two goals in his last three games for the Bloods.
May was invited to the 2023 state combine.

Our last former Swans Ruckman went alright. You'd think that Cousens would have highlighted him.
No chance. He's a lock for one of the top 2 picks from the open pool.If duursma still on board at our pick then Ess will have a hard on for our pick
Thought Naismith was pretty ordinary tbhOur last former Swans Ruckman went alright.![]()
He died a few weeks agoWe have an ace up our sleeve come draft night …. That’s all I have to say
Well Dang.lolThought Naismith was pretty ordinary tbh
Well Dang.lol
Ok then the 1st of the Ex Swans ruckman.
Agree. Its not a bad idea,But having said that it does limit us if we want to trade for someone like a Dobson.Nothing wrong with that scenario if there's a kid available the club rates.
14th-16th in the 2027 draft is picks 6,8 & 10 & thats without any academy kids going early.
Tassie also has to trade picks 5,7,11,& 13 so there's every chance we could get back in early anyway.
FFSGreg Stafford?
We are due a good one? lolWell Dang.lol
Ok then the 1st of the Ex Swans ruckman.
Wonder if Dobson played in a Swans jumper in his junior years. We are due a good one? lol

If you read the book, it's because the gilgafrinchans (?) sent a space ship full of losers (telephone sanitizers, collingwood supporters, etc) to space because "their world was about to be eaten by a giant space goat". The losers fell for it and crash landed on the giant supercomputer AKA earth, where their presence ****ed up the calculations to the "question". That's why it's 9 times 6 and not 7 times 6.You get 54, which isn't the question to the answer to the question of Life, the universe and everything.
Makes sense from our side. Not sure we would get many bites though.Tassie have about 7 of the top-11 picks. Then there’s sure to be a host of father sons and academy’s (eg Bewick). So our FF1 could be anywhere from 8-20.
In 2028 Grjl would be in his third season. Our FF1 would likely not be helping us on field until 2029.
It’s completely different to North. They traded their future pick for a mid-20’s pick, on the back of losing their last 2 games of 2024 by a combined 200+ points.
Sure; we might finish bottom in 2027 and it’s a terrible deal if Grjl is a bust. But if he’s a very good player and we finish out of the bottom-3 it’s a great deal.
North probably would! No team is giving up a pick 10-12 for a FF1
