The Richmond List Management & Recruiting team went away over the long weekend to finalise their order.
As things stand, Richmond will sit and wait. Not interested in getting involved in any pick trades.
They believe the Bombers + Dees will fight over WCE pick 2. Unlikely to come off but they will give it a shake. Belief is Dees want Robey, Bombers want CDT.
Richmond will sit and wait and take whoever is left out of CDT + Robey and then take X Taylor with the next selection.
If WCE take pick 2 to the draft (which is a possibility, the eagles will then decide between CDT and Sharp.)
If CDT/ Robey/ X Taylor are available at our pick, I’m not sure who we select.
All I know is that after the weekend, we’ve got 3 clear names at the top.

I can’t believe we are overlooking Grlj given our current list dynamic- let’s hope there is a plan to bring some speed in over the next 12 months.

If you read the book, it's because the gilgafrinchans (?) sent a space ship full of losers (telephone sanitizers, collingwood supporters,etc) to space because "their world was about to be eaten by a giant space goat". The losers fell for it and crash landed on the giant supercomputer AKA earth, where their presence ****ed up the calculations to the "question". That's why it's 9 times 6 and not 7 times 6.

The gilgafrinchans planet was then eaten by a real giant space goat.

Never read the book, just listened to the radio series, guess that's why I'm a bit fuzzy on the detail

I think he will hurt opponents with relentless intent and great decision making, precise handballs that free up runners, better concentration, professionalism, good energy and attitude, quick reaction time and beating oppo to the ball, great for club culture. Not a moments player but a wearing them down player. He looks so natural. He won't be a dusty type but an elite meat and potatoes type. Every team needs them and he will be elite in that player type.

I like the idea of taking a " meat n potatoes" type where we know what we are getting. Or do we take more risk on someone with x factor who potentially has a higher ceiling? Both types are needed, it depends where we are at in building the team perhaps?

You do know he played 2 games less than cumming this year? Thats also ignoring the 5 senior games he played at Rowville seniors in the ENFL which has plenty of ex afl players running around.



Just because they were unnoticed doesn’t mean they were unremarkable. Jason Taylor (dees head recruiter) literally called eastern after his first game according to Lauren Moorecroft he was that good. Doesn’t surprise me because I was watching that game and he was very good forcing gippy to move Duursma onto him after HT to quell his influence.
