Compared to what the other players have produced in the last 2 years he should be rated #1
Not true as his SAFL games/numbers were ordinary. Other draft prospects have produced better at senior level. Both Cumming and Grlj performed better.

Geez I reckon Liam Fawcett is going to shock a few on here.
Has grown into a hulking forward who can take a grab.
Very Thilthorpeish.
One quality we don't need to draft this year is talls !!!
did a couple of nice things in his game V Port at the start of 25
did catch a commentators eye , but we got pole axed so opportunities for forwards were very slim that game
fans that go to the VFL are taken by his appearance (physique)
fingers crossed he can bring it all together in 26

sounds like he is trying to get better anyway:thumbsu:

Have a look at the 1st post under the Predict our 3 picks thread. You a bit late bro.

Been thinking more and more that wc will take him unfortunately.
I'm happy with either of Sharp or CDT. If West Coast take Sharp then it's not a problem.

I'm nervous about drafting a young ruckman. That said, if he projects as the next Luke Jackson (and good judges say he does) then he's worth an early first round pick. It's worth noting that Jackson played a full season in only his second year (as 2nd ruck) and was a point of difference for the Demons in their premiership.

If the club doesn't love CDT then they might be able to extract a kings ransom from either Essendon or Melbourne to trade down. Unfortunately North Melbourne doesn't have the draft capital to get involved this year ;-)

His sanfl numbers were fine and was played in other positions and not as a true mid

SA gun wins Larke Medal, named captain of U18 All-Australian team

Dont think he gets named captain and wins the Larke for his 'Ordinary' performances
not sure why you don't acknowledge what he has achieved the last 2 years. Very good chance he ends up at another club but you cant deny the work and results the boy has produced

Could say the same about Jagga and he wasn’t no.1.

Sharp is a gun but has limitations at afl level which are being argued. He isn’t being underrated, he’s being assessed.
Well we dont know what Jagga would have produced last season had he not done a knee
best player doesnt always go #1 as we all know

Very interesting list from Michaels guest about where this year's crop would rank if drafted last year on the last episode , only 4 from this year ranked in the top 15.
I can't post a photo for some reason moderator.
