he does the talent ID so ranks his players where he ranks them. then like everyone else is trying to piece what they hear together from all walks of life.

in a good way, richmond being so guarded means it is near on impossible.

the only time he ever mentioned having inside knowledge was in relation to other footy / richmond specific stuff and still to this very day, he is the only person the club have ever asked me about in relation to where he got info from with how accurate it was.

A Sam Cummings is why you do not pick Jagga Smith and Sam Glrj for mine. Sharp is far more sound inside than Smillie for mine and this is why for mine, RFC should pick Sam Cummings 3 or 4 for mine and get Dyson as well. pick these and I have no regrets

Anyone who is willing to share inside info deserves some respect. Pretty sure Hicks never actually claimed his was a Richmond insider, just that he worked in the industry but is also a Richmond fan. So the rankings that he is giving may very well be based on how the club he is involved with views the kids and not necessarily how Richmond actually views them. So the picks he makes for Richmond in his mocks may be what that club believes we will do at the draft. Remember we have become quite leak proof when it comes to the draft as well as trades, so I doubt that anyone on here who claims to have inside info is actually 100% bang on, even those with mates who work inside the club.

Trainor is a good wing option. Kmac retired opens up a wing spot. Dow played wing a bit too. Retshco hasn't played senior footy. I hope Balta is played in Young's spot.

Not a THIS IS ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN draft.

It just defies logic people try hang others on a mock draft when it’s unquestionably one of the more impossible things to nail because clubs are so guarded.

I don't have an issue with mock drafts. Hell, I love doin them myself. And I have to listen to tiger_tough 's dumb takes constantly.

My issue with Hicksy was that his posts came across as very "I'm better than you" without backing it up with substance
