I wonder if Carlton only do the trade with Essendon if Dean actually gets bid on at the West Coast pick.
If they do the trade before the draft starts on draft night, it just means no one will bid on him.
That's where Essendon messed up last year. They did the trade early and the bid on Kako came at 13 (courtesy of us) instead of top 10 which is largely where the bid was tipped to land.

They may just hold until a bid comes , Im pretty sure you can still do that

The only way we split is if we are prepared to let Robey go. If bombers or Dees want him so badly, then they must give up their first two picks or no deal.

Bombers picks 5 & 6 for our 3. We grab Cumming, Taylor and Grjl
Bombers grab Robey

Or, if bombers don't give up 5&6. Dees give up picks 7 & 8 for our 3
We then get Cumming, Grjl, and either Farrow/Dovaston/Phillipou

If there's no split, Robey/Cumming, Robey/Taylor, Robey/Grjl

We are WINNERS either way!!!

Those deals will never happen.

I’ve only heard lots of “best available” in the media. Haven’t heard a single media person saying “Richmond are into Robey”, which is interesting.

And I take with a grain of salt all the social media posters claiming “I know a guy…”, but when not a single one of those has mentioned Robey either… just makes me wonder why.

There hasn't been a single media person that has linked us to anyone. It's all speculation.

Said it at the time when people were saying trade F2 for Young and pick 10 that i wouldn't trade our F2 for 10.
