Dance hall been torn downWhat's to say Robey wasn't at Punt Rd this week?
They like Nairn as well which may help us too grab their f1(Which is Blair's price). If it’s Melbourne who’s after Robey , they must trade. Otherwise loose to bombers.
Robey for sure. I don’t like taking rucks that high (and is he even a ruck?).I come in peace etc
I’m a fan of Robey, to the point where I’m probably 50/50 between him and CDT at pick 2. The majority of the WC board have had a bizarre obsession with Sharp, even wanting him at pick 2, while Robey has barely rated a mention. Most have now conceded it will be CDT and have come around to the idea. I think it’s 80/20 in his favour on the night.
But I'm curious, who would you prefer out of Robey and CDT? One will be available, who do you hope it is?
Robey has been strongly linked to the Tigers, but I’m not sure if that’s just because CDT is assumed to be gone by picks 3 & 4.
The WC midfield is woeful while our KPF stocks are not bad (thinking CDT starts mostly forward until he puts on some ruck size). So on a needs basis we badly need mids and Robey fits the bill. But CDT is the likely selection, he has some unique athletic traits for his size and could potentially be anything.
I'm sure your son will do well.Just not in the yellow & black.I just see an absolute superstar with Robey.
Has the size, burst, skill to be one of the leagues elite. Kicks goals for fun and a good mark. Modern day midfield height and would be an unstoppable duo with Lalor. I can’t see how we overlook him. Has that real bullet pass in his disposal also.
Just turned 18, one of the youngest in the class. Plenty of scope for improvement.
Character is a big check too with huge leadership potential. Listen to his interviews, the blokes a 28yr old in an 18yr old body. Knows what to say, how to say it and is going to bring hordes of lasses to the club also.
I see a young Cotchin in him (personality wise and how he handles himself)
CDT, Sharp or Cumming. I don’t care which one is after aslong as we picked Sullivan.
Can only speak for myself but im not a fan of taking a Ruck with a top 10 pick and rather get a Ruck thats had 3-4 years development already at another club and is an over rated position. Not sure what CDT becomes in the future but thinking his ceiling is a Blicavs type. if both available im taking Robey but i love big mids that are powerful and kick goalsI come in peace etc

I fear we are in grave danger
Robey haters have a meltdown. They know who they are![]()

has to be more to itEssendon pick 21 and 27 for Carlton pick 9 ?
Pick 9= 1355 points
Pick 21+27= 1254 points
Surely Essendon pick 30 also needs to be included
don't ask me, I have no idea what the club is thinking. Do you think others do? probably notI come in peace etc

if they are using it for points, which is expected(otherwise why trade at all?), in terms of matching of course they are keeping it because they have more points regardless of position.has to be more to it
why would Carlton trade for that
12 months ago, CDT. Talls had been missing from our draft strategy and we were crying out for them.I come in peace etc

Pick 9 will drop to 13 after bid matches =1080pts, not sure if the others will move much.has to be more to it
