I would ignore the negativity about this draft until the championships we hear the same rubbish every year it's a weake draft you got the top line picks and good recruitment team they find the gems.

Hunter Hearst Holmesly, could use a guy who is that damn goodHunter Holmes bro of Max, playing for Oakleigh against the Sydney Academy on the weekend.
“the majority of his 22 disposals coming in the first half. The hard-running, cleanly-skilled 187cm winger/onballer had split his time between the midfield and wing until Saturday, where he played exclusively in the midfield, crafty around stoppages he has natural burst so can be a metres-gained player. his athleticism and aggressiveness both eye-catching.”
ZeroHanger.
Kellaway had a fantastic performance here, barely putting a foot wrong all game. He cracked in hard in contested situations, laying tackles or winning the ball and distributing with creative hands, he ran hard outside the contest and his disposal by foot was solid. He showed strong, clean hands in the air, and even hit the scoreboard, kicking a goal of his own and setting up the shot on goal that tied the game late.
I think what you see is what you get. He's a little bit slight of frame but not so small as to suggest that he can't play as a pure mid at AFL level. He's got the stoppage craft, the work rate, seems to enjoy getting stuck in, so I see no reason why not. Not every kid that's drafted as a mid ends up playing there at AFL level but I reckon you start there and see how he tracks. What sort of player do you see Kellaway being at AFL level?
That is true , a lot of our younger players rate poorly , tho a few have improved , leb is off the charts lowI believe he has the worst pressure acts rating for just about any defender of all time so far in his AFL career which is an issue if you are a defender
Good year to have a couple of super early picks plus a father-son, maybe an academy selection and call it a day.Cal Twomey saying that clubs aren't 'hot' on this years draft, says that clubs don't think the depth is there, and they don't think the star power is there

yeh looks like we'll end up with picks 3 & 4. We will probably end up with 2 of Greeves, Grlj, Lindsay, Duursma and Sharp. Think eagles will have picks 1 & 2 and take a ruck in CDT, then best available from the remaining mids.Good year to have a couple of super early picks plus a father-son, maybe an academy selection and call it a day.
Pretty stress-free draft coming up for the Giesch.
